Sorry to hear that! Me personally while reading the book I imagined Cillian playing the part of James even though he may not be the perfect fit. I heard that the author wanted him to have a role in the movie but he wasn't picked, shame on them!

I had half hoped he would, because I agree that he could pull it off wonderfully, but with the setup of the characters and they way they ruin books in movies now, I think it might be a good thing not to smear his good name with a crappy movie.
Speaking of Twilight, I have a friend who got to go on set for 2 days as her wish from the Make a Wish Foundation. She had a great time, and her pics of the set look great, but she said that the Bella and Edward (in filming) were no where near what she had hoped/expected. I hate to sound so pessimistic, but this was one of my favorite books, and possibly one of the best characters of all time. I hate it when they just can't get things right!

Oh my!!! He is absolutely Gorgy! I love the one with his shirt undone...
I agree that he would be The Perfect Edward, but alas, he was not cast for the roll. I just finished the first book, and really liked it. I have heard that the second book is not very good. Should I read it?

He will always be my Edward.
But aside from Twilight, I think he's a great actor. I watch The Tudors just to see him.
