I could look at those images all day discoharvest. I went into the theatre without reading the books, I knew the basic storyline and saw the trailers. I wasn't wanting to see it cuz all the fan girl-ness and ... well GOSH I came out all fan girly and can't handle I think I gotta find time to read the books now. Mr. Robert Pattinson/Edward Cullen = WAY TOO PRETTY ! Was very satisfied. I can't even express feelings ... but I know MANY MANY MANYYYYYYYYYYYYY others understand. If not more so then me. Teeheeeee.

So I saw the movie last night. I haven't read the books either. I've owned the first three books for like a year, but hadn't had time to read them. After seeing the movie last night, I immediately started reading the first book. I plan on reading all of them over Christmas break. I found the movie entertaining and good and all, but also corny, haha. Oh, and RPattz is hot.
Favorite scenes: Kiss of course. And the baseball scene. It probably helped that they played Muse.

I watched it twice! It's actually really fun, and I loved the casting. It was corny, but entertaining. I loved the little bits of humor as well, like when Charlie locked and loaded the shotgun when Bella was about to introduce him to Edward. XD
Oh, and I adored the soundtrack.

HA yea it had some cornyness, BUT it was a great movie, and i loved the sparks of humor thrown in there too, one scene i love is when bella tells edward to put his seatbelt on and he laughs and tells her she should too, its cute, funny and he has a cute smile/laugh LOL BUT one thing i DONT like is the whole fan girls ruining everything!!!! not only for people to meet Robert but for the movie too. like the whole mall riots and everything and they had to cancel some apperances!! WTF? thats rediclulous!!!

Having read the books (multiple times) and already being a huge fan, I tried not to go to the movie with very high expectations. Once all of you ^^^ read them, I think you will understand why. Initiallyl, I was not terribly excited with the casting, and upon seeing the movie, many of my doubts were confirmed. I am convinced that Kristen was the best choice for Bella, and I loved Alice and Carlisle. But as for the remainder of the leading cast, I was a little disappointed. Rob does what is probably the closest possible human choice for Edward (acting wise) and I think no matter who they cast would never have lived up to my, and most fans, expectations for him. The actors who played Jasper, Emmett, and the actresses who did Esme and especially Rosalie were....less than par in my opinion. All that being said, I don't think it detracts too much from the book/story.
On a side note, the sparkly effect was nicely done. Also, in terms of attractivness, wasn't Edward supposed to be hotter than James? But did everyone see that body and those blue eyes (of the actor). And Jacob w/his normal hair is pretty nice too...

lol yea im getting the book for x-mas, and i had a few friends who also went in not expecting much, b/c they read and loved the books but they said that the movies did a pretty amazing job sticking with the book itself, (script and plot wise) and they said that Robert was pretty good for Edward. But i am excited to read the books.
And i read the other day that the author is going to FINISH Midnight Sun!!!! IM excited for that too!!! b/c that was horrible what happened with that book, i bet she was pissed. But anyways im excited to read that one after i read the first 4!
And i think that Edward is WAY hotter then James LOL i didnt really find James attractive at all LOL
