Hey bookworm, have you seen the movie of A Little Princess? I first saw it years ago and it still makes me want to cry each time I see it, it's such a good movie!

Nice choices bookworm! I am curious to see what you pull together for the historical fiction.

I just finished The Sweet Far Thing. It was pretty good, but I like the first two books better. I felt that the third one was drawn out and confusing in some parts.
I just started reading Night by Elie Wiesel. I should have read this a long time ago, but better late than never, right?

7. "The Chronicles of Narnia"- C.S. Lewis I really believe that everyone should read this series at least once in their life. The individual books are short and easy to read. As classics and simply good books they have alot to offer the reader, whether they are seeking enjoyment or a thought provoking experience. For those who are religious, they will see and understand alot of the religious symbology, but I don't think it is overdone or offensive. I strongly suggest these! Bookworm, I was interested in the books ever since I saw the movie. I read up about them online, and even though they're targeted for children, they look like a very good series. They appear to have serious undertones, which I find very intriguing. I will definitely try to read them in the future. Hey bookworm, have you seen the movie of A Little Princess? I first saw it years ago and it still makes me want to cry each time I see it, it's such a good movie! Ashley, have you seen the 1993 film adaptation of The Secret Garden? I never got the chance to read the book, but the film was really, really good. It was my favorite film when I was younger. I've been trying to look for my VHS of it out in my garage, but I haven't found it yet! Dang, I don't know why I am feeling so nostalgic lately...

Hey bookworm, have you seen the movie of A Little Princess? I first saw it years ago and it still makes me want to cry each time I see it, it's such a good movie! YES!!! I have seen both versions (ones where the dad is alive, and ones where he isn't) I havn't seen them in a really long time, though. I need to! Thanks for the reminder.

I've only seen the one version where her dad is alive. And I haven't really seen the movie of The Secret Garden but I want to.

I'm reading 1984 right now. Getting a head start on the summer reading list. It's pretty good, I was wondering are there any movie adaptations of it? Probably not as good as the book if there are.

^I love 1984. One of my favorite books. One of my favorite endings. There is a movie, but I haven't seen it.
I'm going to read American Psycho once I get home tomorrow (from college). I hear the book is pretty disturbing, but I love the movie and hear the book is just as good, if not better.

Yeah I just finished reading 1984. I liked it. If there is a movie I'd want to see it. And I might try to find American Psycho too!

Right now i'm reading Shantaram which i'm loving. True story about a guy who escaped prison and moved to Inida and did all this amazing stuff. It's really interesting and detailed. Also re-reading Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Yep i'm a Potter addict!

I decided to start reading the Chronicles of Narnia and started with The Magician's Nephew. I've never read the books before, but liked the 2005 movie and I plan on seeing Prince Caspian this weekend.
