Mean Girls = 5/10. I don't know, I'm not into girly films. Except Clueless. Clueless is embarrassingly awesome.

Mean Girls = 5/10. I don't know, I'm not into girly films. Except Clueless. Clueless is embarrassingly awesome. It's too bad that you didn't like it, Olivia. It's one of my favorite comedies! I thought the dialogue was quite sharp and witty. It was so funny, too. Oh well, everybody has different tastes. Scream 8/10 I don't know why I didn't watch this before! It's definitely one of those great, new classic horror movies. It was quite gory, yes, but hey, it's classic Wes Craven. It was also very, very funny, which was great because I love the mix of horror and comedy. I loved the screenplay, and I thought the story was pretty good, too. I loved the twist at the end -- I just knew he was the bad guy, but then I thought he was killed, but then he wasn't and turned out to be the bad guy again. Awesome. Skeet Ulrich was so freaking hot and sexy!! He looked soo much like a young Johnny Depp. So hot. Oh, and it was funny watching it and finding similarities of it to the last scene in Red Eye. Ha, Wes Craven was paying homage to his very own Scream in Red Eye. I thought that was funny. Tropic Thunder 5/10 I thought it was pretty bad. I actually had pretty high expectations for it. It looked so funny from the trailer, but the jokes and antics got pretty old fast. It ran a bit too long, and I actually got a bit restless. Jack Black was so freaking useless in this movie. He was basically just wallowing around. Robert Downey, Jr. was pretty funny, and I was quite surprised and amused that Tom Cruise was in it. I was like, "Is that really Tom Cruise?" I was puzzling over that for a few minutes.

Pineapple Express 7.5/10 It was pretty funny. Seth Rogen and James Franco were great. My boyfriend thought there were too many pot jokes at which point I told him it was a movie about potheads and that's what you should expect. Their constant state of paranoia is hilarious though.

Little Miss Sunshine - 9/10 Haha. I had seen it before a couple of years ago, but a second viewing was much needed. Little Miss Sunshine is always great, funny and smart, but not quite perfect. ^-^

Harry Potter & Philosophers Stone. 8/10. I love Harry Potter.

For Your Consideration 7/10 Entertaining and funny but certainly not Christopher Guests' best, my least favorite of all his flicks but I am glad to have finally seen it. Hard Candy 7/10 I was not a fan of this one and I really wanted to see it. I simply do not like Ellen Page although I think technically she did a really great acting job considering her age at the time of filming and the mature material she had to deal with. (although I am super excited to see her with Cillian in Peac*ck). I hated what her character did to Patrick Wilson's character, instead of Wilson being the bad guy or the enemy, Ellen Page was the bad guy to me. I really hated her in this movie and in general I just was not interested in the topic or where the movie was going. Still, I am glad I saw it and gave it a chance, it certainly was not the worst movie ever, it was just not what I was expecting or wanting out of a film that night. Gosford Park 9/10 One of my all time favorite movies, the cast is amazing, I love everything about this movie. I LOVE Kelly MacDonald and Clive Owen in it the most, if only they had a much bigger love affair. Oh well, still an amazing movie! Broken Flowers 7/10 Another film I have been wanting to see for forever and was disappointed in. I love Bill Murray and this film has a great cast but the film was just slow moving and relatively boring. I think this movie could have been awesome but somehow, something wasn't done right, and the movie just missed the mark for me. It was still a good and fairly enjoyable movie but it was just missing some crucial spark or excitement to really bring it home.

Meet Joe Black. I am not a Brad Pitt kinda gal, but I enjoyed it and the whole idea of the film is brilliant. It was better than I thought it would be. 8/10
I was gonna give it 9-10/10 but the ending kinda ruined it for me.

Miss Pettigrew Lives For a Day 8.5/10 I loved it! It was very cute and so funny! It worked both as a good period piece and a good romantic comedy. Amy Adams was adorable and perky as usual. Frances McDormand was hilarious, and I loved her British accent! Lee Pace was so incredibly handsome! Was that really his singing voice? Either way, he's so gorgeous. In Bruges 8/10 This was so, so hilarious! The dialogue was brilliant. So random and funny! Colin Farrell was the funniest of them all. I was quite surprised by his performance. He was quite good and natural in his role as Ray. The only thing that kinda set it back for me was the whole relationship between Ray and Chloe. I know the actress playing Chloe isn't all that young or anything, but she looked sooo much younger compared to Colin that she looked like jailbait. She was very good in the movie though, so oh well. 21 6/10 It was just mediocre, but I have to say that it was very well filmed. Don't get me wrong though, Jim Sturgess was absolutely gorgeous in it! He had a very convincing American accent. He just didn't have much to work with. The script was weak, and the plot was even more so. I just didn't really care for the whole movie.
