Yaay, Cillian has been in the Dutch magazines alot, but all that had to do with Red Eye. img32.imageshack.us/img32/6933/fightclub8mi.png This pretty much is the first thing about him thati sn't dedicated to Red Eye. Exept for a tiny 'quote' thingy in another magazien, but I haven't got my hands on it yet. It's on it's way though xD. Well, it's old stuff but it's good to see him in Dutch magazines. It suprises me also that my scanner did such a good job on it ^^. If you want a translation, feel free to ask. I had to scan it in now it hasn't yet started to look faded. I've been staring at it with a huge smile for days now... xD |

It's obvious, even though he is just like Colin Farrel an Irish actor, Cillian Murphy doesn't wants to become one of the hot import candies in America. But Cillian (pronounce as 'Killian') does has the label of 'hot new star' in America. And he deserves it. The Irish guy used to study law, but since he ahs been caught by the actingvirus Murphy acts alot in England and Ireland. After a part in scifi-thriller '28 Days Later' of 'Trainspotting' director Danny Boyle things are also getting started in the USA. Murphy scored a role next to Jude Law and Nicole Kidman in cold Mountain, and he plays the sweetie of Scarlett Johansson in 'Girl With A Pearl Earring'. After that, Cillian pulls on the Batsuite for the auditions of 'Batman Begins'. But he eventually has to be satisfied with the part of the Scarecrow. (The leading part goes to Christian Bale.) Cillian wins the main price with 'Red Eye' in wich he plays a terrorist who kidnaps a girl (Rachel McAddams) in a plane.
Next up for Cillian? A role as a tranvestite in the film 'Breakfast on Pluto', next to Liam Neeson.
