I saw this topic over at the IMDB boards, and I'm quite a movie enthusiast, so I thought I should start it here. Here are some upcoming movies that I am excited for.
1. The Time Traveler’s Wife
It's one of my favorite books ever, and I'm quite excited to see it come alive on-screen. I'm also a big fan of Rachel McAdams, so I can't wait to see her portrayal of Clare. Supposedly, it's coming out this Christmas, but I keep on hearing different things.
2. Burn After Reading
The trailer was absolutely genius. It looks so hilarious. The cast looks top-notch -- especially John Malkovich and Frances McDormand. I can't wait to see this Coen creation!
3. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
I've never read the short story, but when I watched the trailer for this, I was captivated. It looks absolutely beautiful. I'm not a big fan of Brad Pitt, but I am a fan of David Fincher. I like Cate Blanchett, too.
4. Quantum of Solace
I was skeptical of Daniel Craig as the new 007 at first, but I loved him in Casino Royale. He's so dark, brooding, moody and badass. I love him, and I can't wait to see him in action again!
5. Zack and Miri Make a Porno
This looks absolutely hilarious! I love Seth Rogen; his humor is like no other.
6. Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist
I should be waaay past this phase of "teenie bopper movies," but there's just something so endearing about this movie. It looks so funny, too.
7. Choke
I loved the book, and hopefully, I would love this movie adaptation just as much. Sam Rockwell is so funny in the trailer!
8. Milk
I'm a big fan of Sean Penn. Hopefully, he'll get another Oscar nom for this role. Plus, there are so many cute actors in this movie alone! James Franco looks adorable it in it, and there's also Emile Hirsch and Diego Luna! Wow. I'm also quite intrigued with Josh Brolin (he was awesome in No Country For Old Men).
9. W.
Like I said above, I'm intrigued with Josh Brolin for some reason. He has a taste for controversial roles, and I like that. The cast for this movie look quite similar to the real people they're portraying -- especially Thandie Newton. Wow, the similarity is uncanny!
10. Pride and Glory
I'm a big Ed Norton fan, and I can't wait to see him this role. I'm not a big Colin Farrell fan, but he looks like he might be good in this movie, too.
Others (I'm sorta excited but can't decide if I really am yet): The Changeling, The Soloist, The Lucky Ones, Australia
