Well said!! ;D I'm with you all the way on every single damn thing you said. LOL. By the way, thanks for the cool review you gave Crossing the Line - it does go very well with scotch. And I LOVE your siggy pic- did you make it?

And I LOVE your siggy pic- did you make it? No prob. I'm new to the RedEye fanfics...I'm really enjoying them. I made my siggy last night. I was chatting with a friend on LJ and "jackson smoothy" came out and I thought...(the bartender in me) nice name for a drink...and then , well, you can see the rest of my brainstorm. I'm glad you like it....I do too.

LOL- there are some strange drinks out there, aren't there? I can think of a few really funny sounding names that I can't even list here on this forum. But I remember running across "Lusty Lisa" when I was writing Crossing the Line and I just couldn't leave it out of my fic. I figured Jackson was enough of a smoothy to have heard of this drink, and he'd have damn sure ordered one if he was in an establishment that served alcohol. IMHO.

Yeah.... Neil flipping off the "Media Giant" employee in WTD. I don't care what the critics said, I LOVED that film. It still makes me laugh. It's not a great movie or a classic. It's just one of those quirky films I tend to adore. I'm a complete nerd. "Another late fee...ANNND he didn't rewind! OH, the travesty of it all!" Yep, I'm a geek.

Some people are naturally thin but I tend to think that Cillian uses his body as an extension of the character he is portraying. Since I've never seen any pictures of him as a teenager I can't judge if he is just a natually thin person or that he has an eating disorder. I wouldn't go as far as saying he has any form of eating disorders. I believe Cillian is a vegetarian, right? So that may be one of the reasons right there. Plus, men tend to be able to shed weight easily if need be. I cannot remember fully if he is a heavy smoker or not. Together - will keep him slim. But there are skinny guys...and then fit guys you just tend to be naturally slim. Cillian just has a slim frame on him whether he has a bit more muscle or not. Frankly, the big buff blokes scare me. I don't need a guy with bigger t*ts than me. Or one that I can't wrap my arms around and walks like a human refrigerator. I like to think that it's part of his personality too. He doesn't give a sh*te. This is how I look, get over it. He doesn't seem to be overly macho or focused on having that image. He is a GQ all his own. Put that man in a suit, and it's hotter than ANY half naked centerfold! Cillian is his own sexy beast of originality! *Applauds* Perfectly put! And i've got to get my hands on WTD asap! I have a feeling i'll love it too cos i love usually love anything low budget, different, quirky, independent etc.... Maybe someone will get it for me for X-mas.....

I totally love WTD. I think it's hysterical. It had me in stitches. It's not going to fit everyone. It's a love it/hate it type of movie. My mum thinks it's completely stupid.
But I went to uni with these types of people, so I find it very funny.
And it was nice to see Cillian being goofy for a change. I think he has natural comedic timing. It wasn't a great role for him or a stretch....but in time I think he could completely engulf himself into comedy that will leave us laughing our arses off.
Neil was comedic....in a subtle way. It would have looked ridiculous if he acted over the top. He was more of the straight man role. I'm a film nutter, have been naive in the past, and fit in the freaks/geeks category...so I associate with Neil.
Believe me, I have been on that sofa between two people arguing over the dumbest damn things. "You're insane...Korean snuff films are soo much better than Japanese Deathmatch Anime!"
