[ Unfortunately I do not know the exact date, Emma. No worries Mitzi Wow - I certainly wasn't expecting all these! But then I guess I should have learnt by now, from all the previous times I've assumed the supply of Cillian pics I've never seen before must have all been posted here by now - that it's wrong to assume! Fantastic selection there Aimee, you've made my morning with those!

Another thought I've had too. It would have really made my Christmas if there'd been a Cillian calendar released for 2010 I'm not normally into celebrity/well known actor type calendars - but that would have been perfect for me. I guess right now it's just not meant to be though. Still, I was lucky enough to get two movies of his I'd never seen before for Christmas - so I'm still pretty happy! ;D

I got both Intermission and On The Edge I think just slightly I preferred Intermission - but still really enjoyed watching him in both! I particularly found those scenes of him in Intermission *spoilers to follow here* when he's working in that supermarket funny and keeps getting into disagreements with his boss. And of course, when it came to that nightclub scene you shared on Faceback recently, I thought that was hilarious too! It goes to prove how good he is when it comes to acting in comedy movies imo!

I too think he is great at Comedy! Like him in the bathroom in WTD getting ready to come out and attack the giant bald guy and as you said in the night club scene in Intermission. Or when he gets all pissed off and snatches the peanuts in Red Eye! lol I just watched that last night I just love the look on his face! It's not slap stick humor stuff but more situational Comedy.

I loved that part in WTD too! As well as when his character starts getting all paranoid and giving every bald guy he meets the evil eye! I especially liked that part when one of them turns up *spoilers again* at the video store just to rent a film - and he starts vetting him over the counter. It looked to me at the time, while he was trying to do that intense threatening face, like Cillian was actually trying not to laugh - which in turn made it even funnier for me! I'd love it if he did more stuff like that.

I have never seen the first two pictures Mitzi! I love that quote. Pretty sad that if you care about your work you have to worry about being seen as pretentious. I think many big actors forget it IS an art form and not just a meal ticket. I love how Cillian never forgets that.

I have never seen the first two pictures Mitzi! I love that quote. Seconding both comments. In particular I think it's a very refreshing (and good) thing that Cillian thinks that genuine passion for what he does and quality of the actual work matter more than any related financial gain. Of course, money's always going to matter to some extent when you're doing a job - as people rely on it to survive. But at the same time if an actor does what he does with the sole purpose of becoming rich, without their heart being in what they're doing then it's going to result in sub-standard work - at least the majority of the time imo. Same as when it comes to any job. My guess is Cillian might have thought it sounded pretentious, because so many actors say the same kind of thing in interviews - and possibly alot of the time without really meaning it. But I think it shows alot of sense on his part. Thanks for continuing to post so many great pics Aimee!
