Chopping onions, flipping omelettes, what a terrific film. I love Meryl, Amy, Stanley and Chris, they all gave such excellent performances. I loved all the food and the celebration of food. It reminded me of Big Night in which Stanley Tucci also stared in. I thought the interwining stories were great and also the way in which Julie and Julia's lives mirror each other. I enjoyed watching them cook the food and couldn't wait to see what happened to them next. La Streep was so brilliant and divine as Julia Childs and deserves every accolades that comes her way. And don;t see this on an empty stomach. ;D

One of my family happened to mention this film to me today. I think it's on at the cinema where I am at the moment. I may well go and see it this coming week at some point! Sounds as if it could be interesting! :-)

I really liked it too, but it made me so hungry afterwards!
