Yes they are. They are from the song "All love can do" from Charlotte Church, taken from the movie "A Beautiful Mind". Sadly I just got the half of them in my sig b/c of my Jon video. I´ve tried many variations, even resizing the video but I couldn´t get all in, so it´s just half the lyrics. A Beautiful Mind is a wonderful movie and it reminds me a lot of Jonathan Crane. And I could imagine Alex would be singing the song to him or whisper the lyrics into his ear while he´s struggling with Scarecrow. At least this is sth. I would do..

haha okay, I´ll try:
well, Scarecrow used Jon´s sadness, anger and depression, his broken heart to finally emerge and gain 100% control over Jonathan.
Strictly speaking Scarecrow is nothing else then Jon´s dark side - the personification of his sorrow his anger and also his desire of revenge becaue he felt betrayed of all people.
So it wasn´t maybe to have THEM dead in particular but maybe they just were "poor victims" on his way of revenge you know?
Hard to explain....but I hope it makes sense somehow..

"What's long and comes in pieces?" A dismantled rifle perhaps? Hmm...doesn't seem so though, but that's one theory.
She's got to speak to Jonathan about what happened or she's going to drive herself over the edge. I still don't know how she's going to manage being with Jonathan with Ducard watching her every move.

Ohh she heard him talking to Scarecrow. That's never good. I want to know what happens when she finds out about Scarecrow!
At least Jonathan killed off Scarecrow for a while. No one can beat the Jonathan Crane. (Batman doesn't count).
Muahah.

yay!! a new chapter. it's nice to see Jonathan taking care of Alex and realizing she's been shouldering a heavy burden for both of them all this time by being the strong one. But it's so sweet him being there for her you know? Interesting the dialogue going on between Jonathan and Scarecrow and your medical knowledge is starting to payoff I see. Interesting how Alex sensed some of the tension going on with her nightmare with the crows. Very cool.

I'm glad to see Jonathan being the strong caretaker in the relationship for once. And boy is he sweet! Scarecrow is just getting scarier and more impatient. I don't want to know what he's capable of doing if Jonthan tells Alex about him. It seems things are heading that way anyway. Being how they're soulmates and somewhat telepathic, Alex dreaming of crows and then hearing Jonathan say, "Scarecrow" in the bathroom is a big giveaway. GREAT chapter Alex. *Cillian Bar*

awww.. thank you girl so what do you people think? do you think that Jon and Alex are getting too sweet somehow? or is it maybe just a natural human reaction to the years of torture?

Definitely not. They've both lived troubling, lonesome lives miles apart, hardened by their forced separation, separation from others through their independent jobs and required secrecy. They've found the happiness they once had, and they've now been able to put their past aside and love another as they once did. I think it's wonderful

You already know my position on this Alex, I don't think they're getting too sweet personally. The other person is the one person that each of them can count on, something from their former lives that is pure and good, so I think it's natural for them to act this way. Of course if they were always happy-go-lucky I'd say you're getting too sweet, but you seem to keep a good balance with conflict and chaos one moment and tender moments.
I noticed as well that Jonathan is steadily increasing the doses for scarecrow. How long before he can't up the dose anymore and then what happens then? Scarecrow is getting stronger and I'm afraid of what will happen when Alex talks to Jon about the death of her family on their trip (if that's when she decides to bring it up).
The dream feels like it could be great foreshadowing to a climactic event, good job.
