Had a really good evening last night. ;D Went to a pub in Putney, South London to watch a live band playing who were doing The Who tribute stuff. Wasn't sure ahead of time whether or not it'd be my thing - but thought they were absolutely fantastic and really enjoyed it! Already can't wait to see them again in the new year!

It's a nice bright sunny day where I am right now. A little later this afternoon I should have the house almost completely to myself (peace and quiet is something I'm badly craving right now and much looking forward to!) and also looking forward to getting to spend some quality time with my partner this week, as he's off on holiday!

Two days off work and am going wedding dress shopping with my sister, mam and cousin tomorrow. Should be fun, hopefully. With my sister you never know though!
Also, plan on overdosing on House even more than i have been over the past few days. I'm really on a House bender.

I've got a 21st party tomorrow night which should be fun.  And also my brother and siter bought me the coolest birthday present ever. ;D They got me this:  Yep it's the Evenstar pendent from the LOTR trilogy, it's so damn beautiful and i feel so special wearing it- like an Elvin princess.  |

I just received my "How Harry became a tree" DVD in the mail today. Never seen this, so i'm really excited. Watching it as soon as I put the little one down for a nap |

yes, thats where I bought mine, on amazon. Over here its called "Bitter Harvest" but there is also a "Bitter Harvest" from the early 90's . When I would search for the movie over on amazon the actress name from the 90's movie would show up, so I was always too scared to buy it. Until, last week I read some reviews and somebody said they had everything all written down wrong and it was actually Cillians movie. The seller was DVDcity, but it's a region 1 . I dont know if they have any region 2(I'm not sure what you have). Now I need to only find "Sunburn" to own, and then that completes my Cillian movie collection...well my collection of movies were he plays bigger roles

Cool, i'll have to check that out. This makes me happy. I hate drunk idiots at gigs and the fact that Dan from the Black Keys actually cares enough to stop the song and give out sh*t to some of them for pushing a girl makes him my hero! Well he already was, so it just cements that view further. Love you Dan! He stops the song and starts giving out to them at about 2 mins in. And this video is way closer but the cheering of the audience kind of drowns out his words at times. But it does show more of his giving out than the other one i think. Ah i love him. That girl must feel so special, having him defend her like that. Wish more bands would take notice of what's going on in the crowds- too many times i get stuck next to drunken idiots who shove and step all over me. I'm probably the only one who finds this so cool but oh well! |

Life is good. It's all starting to make sense, i think i've figured out what i wanna study and i'm looking forward to it. My two favourite shows are on tonight, i'm going shopping with my family tomorrow- my dad and brother need suits for my sister's wedding and i just feel like im relaxing into being myself a bit more and not being so shy and quiet in work etc. Plus i'm not in work again till Thursday.  |

I bought a lovely dress and top today with some of my birthday money. I think it's the first of it i've spent even though i've had it since October. I love them both, even though they're not like the stuff i usually wear. I'm branching out, getting more in touch with my girly side! Usually i live in converse, ripped jeans, band tees and check shirts/cardigans. |

Met up with a few friends - who I've not seen in ages - over the weekend with my boyfriend! As I'd not seen them in so long, made a really nice change!
