Yes, Zombie, it was a con! My very first one, actually. He was the only reason I went, but I want to go every year now. Next year I intend to go in costume. I adore Gimli, and John did such a great job, I'm so glad I met him. He's very kind and generous - he even took a fan's phone and made a video for her friend who couldn't make it to the con because she was sick in the hospital. Lovely man!

Well after a long 12 month battle, lil ol' me turned those heavy tables around single handed (no lawyer) and I have successfully sued the company that rented me that covered up sh*t hole! All my money back plus damages! *victory dance* I've also been offered to do market stalls in London with my soaps! So I'll be doing them in December, move over Alan Sugar LOL... also the wind blows strange from the past, my first ever little boyfriend, oh how he broke my heart when I was a kid lol... Is in contact with me and we are becoming really good friends. 24 years later! Who'd have ever thought! No romance involved, just really sweet to be connecting and sharing good times and a proper giggle! ;D

I had the best night out ever!! My friend visited me Thursday (she left at 11pm) and I had to go to school in the morning... but she asked me if I wanted to go out with her and some of the people she work with on the ship where she's a stewardess... I wanted to say no because I have been so stressed and tired and I needed sleep but on the other hand I did need to go out... so I did!
Her co-workers and their friends are awesome! I haven't been in a pub since I was in Dublin with school back in 2008... It was so much fun! and after that we all went home to this one guy's huge apartment and played a family game called A-Z... That was hilarious! I just love Irish guys, even if they are only half Irish!
and thank heavens that I don't get hangovers... I have never been so drunk like when I downed rum and cokes just not thinking at all...

Thanks Dulcemirita it's also good to know this experience and support others in case... Lord forbid... A similar thing should happen to anyone else. Many would turn a cheek or feel lost of where to start with such a crazy onslaught! Well I'm happy too because I went to my friends' awesome gig tonight. there was Bollywood, Irish dancing, rock, soul, blues, pop, street dancing Etc... twas very wonderful and earlier today I bought a new natural deodorant from a London botanical company and the scent is identical to something I had way back when I was in the Pyrenees rehearsing that Spanish tour. I can't stop sniffing it... It smells of HAPPY! ;D

That's such fantastic news, Shamrocks! So happy for you! Wow, a whole year of that, and you did it all by yourself. You're one inspirational lady. So glad the battle is finally over and you can relax. Great news about your soap, too! I need to sort my paypal account out so I can purchase some! And that's so sweet about getting in touch with your first ever boyfriend after 24 years! Wow. I'm happy because I have a new kitten! I found the poor thing abandoned in the middle of nowhere, sopping wet, flea infested, and starving. Yet she is the sweetest and happiest little kitten you could ever meet. She just had to come home with me.

Aw Cait congrats on your new Kitten! and I'm glad she found a good home with you!
It sounds a bit like my cat Findus' story, he was the most adorable kitten you could ever find, pretty, cute, housebroken and sociable... yet someone had the heart to 'get rid' of him! We put up a poster in the local shop hoping someone was missing him and the next day it was torn down... most likely by the owners... at least he has a lovely home now (that he loves to ruin, but you still have to love him to bits)

Cait that's wonderful! ...to hear you have saved the life and world of a delicate little sentient being truly is a blessing for you and the world. Loads of love for you and kitty while you heal her and give her all the love in the world! I look forward to hearing about her progress and the fun and love you both share. It was meant to be! So beautiful.

I'm very, very happy today because I won the Alan Wake Halloween Costume Contest! I've been a huge fan of Alan Wake since it came out almost 3 years ago. I've played it a thousand times from beginning to end. I listen to the original soundtrack almost every day, and I've convinced dozens of people to try the game. I even started to gather a few things to make my very own Alan Wake costume. For Halloween, Remedy (the guys who made the game) run a costume contest. I took a few pictures and sent them, just for fun. I did put a lot of efforts on the costumes and the makeup (Alan has a light beard and it was really hard to try and make it look authentic) but I really never thought I would win... Today at 6 am I recieved an e-mail from the online community manager and I just couldn't click the damn link. He said I had won, and he needed my postal address and the size of the t-shirts they would send me as a reward. I honestly can't believe it. I'm on the front page of their website: Remedy's Alan Wake Official Website. This is so awesome I don't even...

WOW And these photos look stunning!! Especially pic number 3. OMG... You look totally aweseome in these clothes and with that gun!

Woo! Some of you already know this but I thought I'd share it on here... I've been contacted by Vogue UK to have some advertorial featured on my little soap business! Wheee! ;D I was asked to do the February issue but I have put it back to May because I don't think I'm ready to be exposed to 1.3 million readers just yet! Eeek! So the next few months will be about expanding the business to accommodate any extra influx! Zoinks!
