OMG Cait, I can't believe I missed your drawing!! How did that happen? I can't believe this is a first effort from you - because it certainly does look like someone with a sure and confident hand drew it! It has great depth and strength. Have you been practising more? If so, I hope you will continue to share! Delayed CB from me for this, and for the fan art you shared today as well!! Wow. I don't know what to say!  Thank you SO much. I have never really sat down and tried to draw until recently, so that makes me feel much better about it! I have been practising here and there. Nothing major, though. I'm terrified of what a full face drawn by me would look like, LOL! We'll see, though.  Oh and don't worry about missing it, I miss things in this forum ALL the time. |

I am the happiest person on earth right now! Let me explain. My father has been unemployed for years. We've been living with 300 euros a month for nearly two years now, but really that isn't important. We have a roof, a bed, food in our plates and the internet, that's all we need and we have our own garden, we grow vegetable for when the times are hard. Last month, he told me that he might have found a nice job that suited him. He's a writer, you see. A very passionate one, he writes a lot of things, mainly plays he directs and employs my mother as an actress (she's a professionnal one). That is not enough to buy fancy stuff but we don't really need it. And last week he handed me a piece of paper and said "here, this is my new job, and I need you to translate it." Actually, my father is working with an old friend of his and an american director to write a movie. Yes, people, a MOVIE! I've always loved cinema, from the very old films in black and white, to the Hammer (Peter Cushing \o/) and nowadays movies. I've always dreamed of seeing one be made, from scratch. My english is not nearly as good as a professional translater, but they said they don't need the skills. They just need to share the ideas, the images, and they need a new point of view. So I'm translating and giving my own ideas. I met the director a few days ago, he's very nice. We had a great time talking about our favorite movies. His vision is fascinating, we have about the same tastes in movies. It sure takes a lot of time and energy to make a film from scratch, but with these three persons, I'm sure it will be a great movie. And as my father says, if we put all our heart in this project, all our energy and if we push our limits, there is no reason why the film wouldn't be a success. And I'm so excited every time they say "You can talk about the movie in general, but not of what it's about." it's like I'm some secret agent, I have to destroy all the papers I work on everytime I send them to the director. It's so exciting! I don't sleep, I barely eat, I smoke like a chimney but AAAAAJDSJHSDQQSQ;;:!11 I'M DOING A MOVIE ! I've never felt so useful in my whole life  This is why I'm so happy right now. I honestly don't care about the money. The director said he liked me, and he wanted me to see everything about the movie. The writing, the shooting, the edits, the distributions, the festivals (he says his aim is Sundance, OMG if I get the opportunity to visit the USA...), everything. My name will even be in the credits! And that is worth every hour I spend hitting my head on my desk, wondering how you say this or that in english. I honestly feel like I'm some kind of crewmember, like the ones you see joking and laughing in the making-of in all DVD extras... God this is so good! Now I must get back to work, I still have 37 pages to finish translating by tomorrow morning. It's almost 7pm, it's going to be a short night, but I don't care, I'm so happy I could spend the whole night working on this and still be full of energy by the morning! Let me say I love you all. Yes, I feel so good I want to show my love to the whole world. And you in particular. You, reading this post, maybe someday you'll be able to see the movie we all put so much efforts in. I LOVE YOU. |

Oh Jinx, I am SO EXCITED for you! It sounds like a dream come true! I hope it all turns out GREAT, and I definitely want to see this movie when it's finished!! That is such an inspiring story, I can't even imagine how elated you must be feeling. Congrats, and have FUN! ;D

that is great news Jinx!! I'm very happy for you. That must be so exciting and very interesting, maybe having some of your own ideas come to life in a movie. I hope I'll get to watch this someday. Good luck with everything

Jinx !!!! OMG !!!! This sounds absolutely great !!! I'm feeling so happy for you and I wish you all the best with this wonderful project ! Let us all know how it goes on and when the movie is finally finnished. I know French movies for their quality so chances are good we will get to know about this movie when it comes out. Maybe you can get Cillian on board... LOL I WISH ! xD Actually there is a character with blue eyes in the script, and of course I thought about Cillian. My father said "Are you kidding? Ki-lihen Mourphie? (that's his accent) Inception? Batman? He's WAY too expensive now!". I don't know why, it made me laugh xD Thank you for all your nice posts, I am so excited, you can't imagine OMG! I wish I could tell you what the movie is about but I can't. It'll be good, that's all I can say for now ! I'm working like 15 hours a day with my father, bended over his shoulder, reading what he's writing and giving my ideas, or he's the one bending over my shoulder and reading what I'm translating, trying to learn a few words for his next appointment with the director. It's just hilarious! xD We spend 20 hours a day on our computers, working on the script or playing wow together (on the same server). I feel so professional right now! It's 3 a.m. and my work is over for today. I'll just go to bed now. Good night and thanks for your kind words, I LOVE YOU ALL \o/ |

I sent an article to Cosmopolitan magazines today. It took me a few days to write it, but yeah, i sent today! Now that i sent it I'm a little self-conscious, what if they rip me a new a$$ hole for writing such a horrible article?  |

I am happy because I am going to apply for practical training as a hotel receptionist in Ireland or the UK!
Okay I know Ireland doesn't have the best of economics at this stage in time, but I love an adore that country!
I So hope I'll have soome luck!!

I start college today, I'm very excited! But also a little nervous, as I won't know anyone. I'm sure there's others in the same boat. I'm so happy to finally be going to college, I've been waiting to go for a very long time! ;D
