I definitely don't blame him for being annoyed by that. Never call an Irishman British! Some people are so ignorant about that stuff! I saw a survey online one time, a lot of those who live in Northern Ireland don't even call themselves British, but instead Northern Irish. Gah! Even when Cillian said, "No, I'm Irish," the stupid interviewer still argued and said, "Yeah, so you're British."  |

I would have smacked that Interviewer...the fact that I live in America and know there's a difference between Irish and British and this dummy doesn't kind of makes me wonder about society...*le sigh*

I've been wanting to see this "I love your hair" vid for a long time, thank you so much for finding it, Disarm! I've given you a CB!! ;D You can really tell that Cillian feels out of his element in that video, with people calling his name, wanting his autograph. But, although his response was a little flat, I don't think he meant to be. At least he responded to her, he could have ignored her! What a silly thing for her to say, though. If I were to see Cillian, I hope I could come up with something better to say than, "I love your hair!" LOL. I do love his hair there, though.  I think if it were just Cillian and that fan one-on-one, and the crowd wasn't there, it would have been very different and he would have been more relaxed. Thanks again for finding this, Disarm! |

I didn't hear it very well... Only someone saying "... it's lovely" and he "Thanks!" LOL Yes, Cait, I think the same as you. I can't see him acting rude or arrogant or something... He just seems to feel uncomfortable about all that fuss. Quite often shy or reserved people are seeming to be cold, even arrogant, just because they don't feel comfortable to be the centre of the attraction.  By the way: I love his hair too!!! Mwahahahahaha! Looks a bit like the Dillinger haircut.  But I would NEVER say something like this to him if I really met him in reality LOL hmmmm.... Maybe I would show him one of my fanarts (what about the unzipped Leon? XD) and ask him: "Would you sign this please?" And he goes like: "What the hell...." turning red and escaping as fast has he can. LOOOL |

Good to know I wasn't alone about not being able to hear it... I feared my hearing had gotten even worse than it already is... but his hair does look lovely!
It actually fascinates me how humble he is, I mean with his talent he could be an arrogant idiot but he's not...

Hey! Thank you soooooooooo much disarm!!! (CB for you) I thought I wouldn't be able to see this video but finally you found it!!!!!! By the way: I can't hear it very well too!
I agree with all of you, the big crowds aren't Cillian's line... And I understand him, cause I'm very very shy and people tend to think that I'm unfriendly but that isn't true I'm just too shy to feel confident and I need my time to get used to people!
