Another little detail that I noticed, and have to mention, I love the little shamrock on Damien's shirt! I've got a question about that: Was it correct to give it four leaves? I've also seen versions with three leaves but I wasn't sure which one is the right. Well... everything hast to be perfect if I want to send this to Cillian ! ;D (Yes I decided to do so!! Thanks you all of you who encouraged me) And I sure don't want to fail regarding things about Irish tradition... |

P.S. I just remembered a George Michael video featuring Mary J. Blige where they were in a bar (or club?) that was filled with George Michael clones  Oh! Impeachy, you are amazing!!! That was exactly what I had in mind while I was developing this comic!!! Cool!  I guessed it! ;D I guess I still remember a lot of things from the time when I was a teenage couch potato. more please Thank you so much Alejandrali!! Well... who knows! Maybe after watching Retreat and Red Lights this comic will get a sequel. (Not to mention the few lesser known characters I haven't included yet....) To be honest I already was thinking about how to integrate Martin (Retreat) and Tom Buckley (Red Lights) in this bar scene. XD But... that's all still up in the air... What we know so far about these characters is too less to make a parody or joke out of it. |

That was truely amazing! I am in awe of what you created, how do I get a copy? I really can't put into words how awesome I think your are for coming up with that. Did you send it to Cillian? If so did you recieve any feed back? Oh its almost 1.30 am right now and all i want to do is jump up and down and scream with excitement lol! Ah maybe I will just try and settle myself down and put Red Eye on. Hmmm don't no how much that will settle me down tho??

The four leaf one is said to be really lucky but it's kind of just a myth, i've never seen one with 4 leaves. Maybe sometimes it does happen though. I don't know how i managed to miss this thread until now but i did! Anyway everyone's pretty much said all the things i was thinking when i read it. It's just absolutely brilliant! I mean, the art is perfect and it's really funny. I love all the little details Punctuator pointed out too, you obviously put so much thought and effort into it. Keep them coming! ;D Good luck sending it to Cillian, let us know if you hear anything back of course. |

I'm not sure if it's true about bringing you good luck because then I should be a very lucky person(I use to think it had that power though). We get a lot of 4 leaf clovers around here. I heard it's actually a mutation. My boyfriend is a pro at finding them. I've found a few 4leaf clovers myself. Sometimes you can even find clovers with more than 4 leaves, but again I seriously think it's only a mutation. When I was little girl I always wanted to be Irish. Maybe it was because I didn't like to be pinched on St Patricks day. I'm sure I've told this story before so I won't go on forever about it. But anyway fastforward to my mid 20's. I got myself a four leaf clover tattoo, so that way if I forget to wear green clothing on march 17th, I'll still will forever be wearing green(on my ankle that is)....I'll never be pinched!! ha I know that's just a weird thing americans do(the pinching) but it was something that effected me when I was little. If you were part Irish you didn't even have to wear green because you never had to worry about being pinched. Well that's how we played it around here. |
