Am I right that I can't find a topic about this film yet? Well I just watched it last night.... Effin BRILLIANT! What a gem of a film! Mark O'Rowe is truly an amazing screenplay writer! He wrote Intermission too and if you enjoyed that, you are in for a feast of fun with Perrier's Bounty! Jim Broadbent, Brandon Gleeson, Jodie Whittaker are amazing in it and of course it goes without saying... Cillian ROCKS! ;D

I liked this movie too! I think it has such a special kind of humor... And Cillian was gorgeous on it!! I love his scruffy style!!

...As much as I enjoy Cillian in movies...I couldn't. Me and my boyfriend nearly fell asleep on it.

Perrier's Bounty is actually my favorite movie of Cillian's...and it actually convinced my mom that Cillian was ACTUALLY a good actor.
but I really want to buy it...but I can't find it here in the Lone Star State.

@bunnie you can go to amazon.com. I sometimes get my (hard to find) movies over there. Last time I checked ,they still have Perrier's Bounty. Mrs-N-Uzumaki I understand what you mean "Sunburn" being boring. I like the movie though, and I know I could enjoy "Sunburn"10x more if I could watch it on my 47in tv , laid-back on couch, instead of a small computer monitor sitting on a hardchair watching the movie on you tube. I want the DVD to this. Perrier's Bounty....I could watch this over and over again. In fact, I might shock a certain Red Eye fan on this one. I'm starting to think Michael is hot as Rippner. I've fallen in love with scruffy Cillian!! haha |

Bunnies I think I got my copy of Perrier's Bounty on either ebay or from amazon.
OH and I totally agree Cillian as Michael is so HOT!!!! UNF!!!
Oh and ikklehen I think that one of the mods could move this thread over to the other one if I am not mistaken. I think we just need to bring it to their attention.

I'm lukewarm about PB in general. I adored Intermission, so I think I may have expected a little too much out of this movie. While I did enjoy it, I couldn't ever really get into the characters - a large percentage of them seemed to be quirky for quirkiness' sake and no other reason. Cillian does look good in it - I liked his hair like that but I just can't warm up to the beard. I'm far too fond of his beautiful jawline to be happy when it's obscured by all that fur. LOL.  I do LOVE him scruffy though - just a different brand of scruffy, like Capa or Rippner. Scruffy but sophisticated, maybe...? My favorite thing about Michael McCrae was his quick temper and lightning fast reflexes. SEXY.  |

I FINALLY got to see the movie!
I have a love for Irish comedy so I think that was a big part of why I really liked the movie and obviously Cillian!
I was a little tired and I must admit I kinda lost the plot a few times but I really enjoyed watching Cillian in it.
That scene towards the end where he's on the ground; OMG I started crying! I thought he was dead and that just made me so depressed! needless to say I loved how he came back to life, very good acting on Cill's part!
