This will be the 4th and FINAL installment of the story of Raymond Leon and the strange woman...

When she could sit on the chair without support he let go of her body.
Timekeeper Raymond Leon took a round around the room with his finger tapping against his chin. On his face he bore a growing grin and she was watching him nervously; she couldn’t recognize this man…
“You know Theresa you’ve been a very good girl today” he said and her eyes widened in shock
“But…” she questioned bewildered
“Thanks to you I finally solved the Dainscully case! If you really are Theresa Dainscully that is” he said as he stood in the other end of the room with his finger on his chin, looking into her eyes.
“I…” she was quite numb; numb with fear of what this man would do her now that he obviously knew who she was.
“5 years I’ve we’ve been working on the case and here you are!” he took a step towards her and she shuddered
“You’ve changed a bit though but I bet that’s what the street does to you!” he told her as he took a close look at the woman who looked up at him with eyes wide with distrust
“Are you working for him” she had to ask before she would burst. Leon laughed at that
“I work for the system, Theresa” he seemed to be using her name just to mock her “Your mother created a lot of problems when she passed on her time to the wh*res” Leon’s voice was cold as ice and she felt it grip her heart.
“Don’t talk about her like that!” she raised her voice in outrage “You don’t know what she was like!”
“I see” he ran his hand over his chin and mouth “You really are Theresa Dainscully then; daughter of Marina and Thomas Dainscully” he nodded his head. She felt a teardrop leave her eye
“Go to hell” her tough exterior was slowly being rebuilt and he knew he had to work quick before her defenses were no longer down.
“No no Theresa, is that a way to talk to a paying costumer?” he walked over to her and ran his index finger over her cheek. She swallowed.
“Then pay me and let me leave” she said as her hands effortlessly started struggling with the handcuffs
“I can’t do that” he said coldly;
“Yes you bloody well can!” She demanded. Leon has seen it before; fear could drive anyone desperate
“How do you think I’d look if they were to find out I had the Theresa Dainscully in custody and I just let her walk off?” he shook his head in a patronizing manner
“What do you need me for anyway?” she spat; trying to disguise the fact that she actually really did want to know
“Isn’t it obvious Miss Dainscully” he asked her; putting his hands behind his back
She shook her head
“Blackmail; if Thomas Dainscully finds out you have been found we can use it to our advantage” he c*cked his head confidently
“What do you want from my” she had to swallow hard “father” that word was strained and she could have sworn he seemed amused by that
“A confession, of course” he rolled his blue eyes at her silly questions “There is much you don’t know about your daddy” he patted her on the head as if she was but a wee child. “I have a proposition for you” he told her, walking around her chair. She followed him with her eyes.
“Thomas Dainscully is known to be a very greedy man, as I’m sure you know” the man told her “If you help us make him believe there’s a chance of him actually getting hold of the time you have stored there may be a little treat in it for you” he licked his lips as his eyes blatantly travelled down her body
“Or let me put it like that; if I let you go you’ll run out of time before night time and all your running has been in vain”
“And how do I know I can trust you then?” if she could she had crossed her arms
“You can’t” he informed her “But if you want to live you have to” he told her and left the room.
Hearing the door slam the cold room seemed to creep in on her; the emptiness enveloped her and she felt as if she would get strangled… right until the door opened and he reappeared with something small and silver in his hand. He went behind her and undid the handcuffs. She let go of a relieved gasp
“No tricks now” he ordered as he stepped in front of her.
“Now come with me; There are some people who have been dying to meet you for 5 years now” he patted her shoulder and helped her back to her feet and lead her out of the room with his hand steadily on her sore shoulder.
“Can I have everyone’s attention” he proclaimed; his voice wasn’t even loud but the entire room fell silent and everyone’s eyes laid on him and the woman he was holding onto
“Theresa Dainscully has agreed to help us in the case against Thomas Dainscully; The Theresa Dainscully case is hereby officially closed” he announced.
