Just a thread to see if there are any nerds / gamers / geeks in here 
As you probably know, Bioware and Lucasart are releasing a Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG for short, or as we say in french "Meuporg") based on the epic saga Star Wars. It's called Star Wars: The Old Republic.
The game takes place just after the Great Battle of Coruscant, about 3500 years before The Phantom Menace, the first movie.

There are two factions:
- The Galactic Republic is the Jedi side. The 4 classes are Jedi Knight, Consular Jedi, Smuggler and Soldier.
- The Sith Empire is the Sith side. The 4 classes are Sith Warrior, Sith Inquisitor, Bounty Hunter and Empire Agent.
Unlike World of Warcraft, this game is about making choices. On each and every quest, you will have to make a choice (basically the choices are "Yes I'll help you", "How much will you pay me if I help you?" and "I won't help you, go die somewhere"). Every choice you make will have an impact on your character, whether he is on the Bright Side, the Dark Side, or Neutral. You CAN be an evil dark-sided Jedi, or a good Bright-Sided Sith. The two factions are basically just for Player Vs Player and Background issues.
The quests are fully voiced, which means your character will say out loud the answer you choose, and so will all the NPCs.
You can choose your side, your class, your race (Human, cyborg, twi'lek, zabrak, rattataki, mirialan, miraluka, chiss or pure blood sith) and your specialization. Basically, each character is almost unique, there are very few chances you meet the exact same character as you in the whole game (you can choose your size, your face, your eye colour, your haircut, your hair colour, your scars, your tattoos, etc.)
I was lucky to be one of the few beta-testers of this game during 2 weekends. Let me tell you it's all made of awesomeness. I just love it. I'm on my way to become a nolife, once more
