OMFG Waking up to find this? I nearly had a heart attack! if he gets any hotter he'll kill me for sure! I can't stop staring at the one with the fedora...
What a lovely interview too, everytime I read his words I'm reminded why I'm a fan of this man!

I'm always very happy to know we share the same views about cinema & theatre, this morning I was looking at a huge bilboard of a really crappy dumb Hollywood movie and I was thinking "let's praise and thank little Cillian who never unleashed such a stultifying wish-wash on our heads, at least he doesn't think we're dumb".
We need more people like Cillian, Enda, and the twin dyinamic duo of Steve McQueen & Michael Fassbender. Cinema and theatre audiences are not dumb, I think we deserve more respect than what we usually get...

Wikkles, that was amazing, thank you so much!!! CB for you.
I would have never been able to get hold of that magazine here....so thanks, it was a very interesting reading. Cillian has all the good qualities I appreciate in an actor and, more generally, in a human being. He's smart, funny, unpretentious and polite. And he's an enthousiast, this vitality is for me extremely important in an artist, the almost childlike enthousiasm. I love it!

I enjoyed reading that interview so much, I felt like a fly on the wall, I could hear Cillian speak... to think I would have never read that if you hadn't posted it!
I had to laugh at the Port and Wagner comment, I saw a nice image in my head at that one

Thanks, Wikkleshamrocks! CB. That sure isn't easy to find from my town...  I've looked for it from two newsstands with no luck. My boyfriend promised to see/ask if they sell it at the local bookstore. I'm obviously hoping the do. I found that "Afterwards, I had to go for an ice cream..."-comment quite funny. ;D Nice to know there are men who understand ice cream is the cure for everything...

We have international magazines in the shopping zone of our station in my hometown, but I haven't found it yet...  Maybe at the airport. SQUEEEEE ! Yes, why not! Your, lovely shamerocks to the rescue for those who can't have access to Clash mag! He is so articulated when speaking, I'm getting to know him quite a bit now that I've read most of his interviews, he seems to structure or cement everything he finds on his way, maybe his nature his that of slow and steady...It's been interesting to know about his future projects, again an Irish production with his beloved Brendan Gleeson, uh? By the way, can someone enlighten me about his postponed Wayfaring Strangers?

Thanks chickies  I just knew there would be some of ya not able to get your hot little mitts on the magazine! Dulcemirita there is a thread called Wayfaring Strangers that's got some info and talk about the movie... It was postponed due to lack of funding. Frustrating for all eh?! |
