blogs.wsj.com/speakeasy/2012/06/26/would-cillian-murphy-make-a-good-christian-grey/I can't stop laughing at this part: "Another role that the Internet Casting Directors have speculated would be perfect for the Irish actor is that of Ramsay Bolton, the bastard son of Roose Bolton (played by fellow Irishman Michael McElhatton) on HBO’s “Game of Thrones.” Ramsay’s described as having a fleshy appearance, with large, wormy lips, long hair, and pale eyes like his father. “Ah…I don’t know if that’s a compliment or not? I’m not quite sure,” Murphy said." ;D

Lots of people have pale eyes - they need to find someone fleshier and wormier to fill that role.

I hate that stupid book!
SORRY...hate is bad, but my distasteful feelings for the whole "Who should play Christian Grey?!" thing is unnerving, I doubt it will be a book with all those 'love' scenes.
sorry! [/rant]
But I don't think Cillian would be a good fit...but I can' WAIT for 'Letters from an Unknown Woman"

I have almost no idea what the book IS... I only know that people are fussing about it a lot. I never know what's going on in the world. So I have no opinion at all on the book or if he should be in the movie.

No offense to those who do, of course.

it's a Twilight fan fiction converted into an Erotic 'novel' Yuck, no thank you! I had no idea about that book. Admittedly, I read all of the Twilight books and at first I did like them, but now I can see how terrible they are. I'd like to slap the person who thinks Cillian would be fitting for such garbage!

What a lovely interview! and some interesting questions... also love the new clips they put into it... I haven't seen some of them at least...
About the 50 Shades of Grey... I've not heard that much about it but it just sounds a bit too... I don't know...
And aw, the way he reacted to the 'compliment' thats one of the reasons I love him!

I agree 100% Rodrigo Cortes made a funny remark recently with a photo of a "Teen Supernatural Romance" section in a bookstore. ;D everything has stupid vampires in them. Even Abraham Lincoln is fighting them in a new film apparently. Jeysus. Overkill. Tired of hearing about FSG already especially twitter. If the script is anything to go by ie: crap, Cillian wouldn't touch it with a barge pole! ;D Oh and what on earth does "wormy" mean!?!?!

Absolutely loved that interview, Alisa, thank you! Finally some interesting and different questions for Cillian to answer, and I roared at his reaction to the 'Bastard of Bolton' role. Definitely not how I imagined it when I read it as text! I couldn't help but think of Kitten when his voice went high-pitched. I agree, they need to give the vampire stuff a rest. Vampires used to be awesome, but then Twilight and all of its successors ruined them. All the fuss about FSG is annoying me, too, especially now that I know that it's based off of a Twilight fan fiction. It's infected my Facebook newsfeed as well.

I'm not into that whole vampire fuss either (have to admit as a girl I had a crush on Christopher Lee's interpretation of Dracula LOL But it was indeed quite erotic... ) but I DO would love to see Cillian in kind of a gothic-styled-fantasy-something role. With nice cloths and stuff... Wormy?? Fleshy?? WTF? No way !

Zombie, Christopher Lee is from another planet, really. He was a real vampire, not the sparkling variety. As for 50 Shades, I sincerely hope Cillian doesn't know what the heck that woman was babbling about. It's revolting stuff. Not for the subject matter itself, but for the value of the writing, which is a big fat zero. Just imagine Cillian, who's well read and smart, accustomed to reading good literature, friend and collaborator to Enda Walsh...reading that kind of script. :-O I wish they eventually cast some worthless beefcake in the role and just shut up. A good actor chooses his roles according to the screenplays he reads...I will sound snobbish, but I do not think anything remotely decent can come out of that novel. So they'd better stop dreaming any accomplished actor as Cillian or Michael Fassbender (he hasn't been asked about it yet, but I'm sure he'd give an identical reply) would touch that role with a 10 feet pole
