The sepia tones look beautiful. What on Earth is the accent he's using in any of these clips, though? It's certainly not Brummie in any of the clips I've seen. It's an amalgamation of Scouse and Manc.

It's starting tomorrow night on BBC2 at 9pm. Can't wait. Without Game of Thrones, the Borgias being cancelled and True Blood not being back yet, there hasn't been anything good to watch on telly for ages. With the evenings getting darker, TV gets better. I really hope it's as good as it looks.

Since I am on the other side of the ocean, can someone from the UK tell us how it is? Also, if anyone knows how a poor American soul could view the show, please share!

Since I am on the other side of the ocean, can someone from the UK tell us how it is? Also, if anyone knows how a poor American soul could view the show, please share! Well it's awesome. The story turns fast, characters are deep, actors are awesome, the set is cool and the soundtrack is fantastic. You feel like you become a local from the scene as soon as you start watching it really pulls you in. Cillian's character Tommy is brooding, intense, delicate and tough. A real meaty character for him to fall into and he falls so bloody well! (Expected from Mr. Murphy) It will be available on DVD in late October in UK apparently so that will be a region 2 jobby. I think there may have been some downloadable files of the series if I am right I will see if I can find any info.

You can watch it at the BBC's website, too, using the BBC iPlayer, if you have virtual private network software. Just pick an IP address somewhere in England, and you should be good to go.

I've seen so many gangster shows. To the boredom. Really hope this one offers a new aspect or something different and fresh, but don't dare to build my hopes too high, so I'll just ignore your positive comments... ;D I'll get it within two weeks. What? Borgias got cancelled? I didn't know. I'm halfway season 2.

Peaky Blinders Season 2 preview!
BBC seems swamped with Doctor Who but they let out this...honestly not really a preview 15-sec clip. But it's all Tommy!

Omg this new trailer is gold.
Also at the end of the clip when he goes
I held my breath for "but fear itself"
hehe I miss Crane.
Course it ended with "so long as we stick together" but I still approve!

Thanks for posting the trailer, Gobby. This is the first time I've seen it. It's great to see Tom Hardy in the trailer, although I won't be able to watch the show. I haven't even seen the first season yet.
