Hey, this isn't a big deal or anything, but I noticed that the word filter changes "t.eh" to "the". This is a little problematic for me because my photobucket username is "t.ehespay," so if I link anything from my photobucket it appears as a broken link. It's not really a big deal because I'm probably the only one who's affected by it, but I thought I'd give you a heads up about it. This site is great, by the way!

lmao, another one easily distracted. It makes me a bit dizzy too, but somehow I can't seem to stop watching it...like your avy. Sorry psyche I have no way of helping you and I'm technologically incompetent, but I just had to post on Blue's post, cause I'm following her sig around the forum. Do we have stalker music here somewhere to cue up?

I'll change the filter for you. I wasn't aware it would do that. But, I'll see if I can fix it for you. It shouldn't be a problem.

Speaking of word filters, something I noticed was that it SOMETIMES changes the word 'a.ssistant' to 'arseistant'...which is amusing but can make a serious scene into a comedy. XD It doesn't seem consistent, though, since I've seen both spellings, and now I can't remember if it did that to my fic or not.

The same thing happened in my fic. I finally changed "a.ssist" to "help". Perhaps the filter is too sensitive; there are other common words that come out oddly because there is a "bad word" hidden somewhere within the word. I don't know if anything can be done about it, but it's a bit annoying.
Same thing sometimes happens at work; I had to explain to one of the County managers why his e-mail couldn't go through our system. One county is named "Butte" and that was enough to stop the e-mail from being sent. I'm not sure how he resolved the issue, since the word was part of the e-mail address. ;D

I've weakened the word filter over the past couple months because some of the words in the filter were ridiculous and we're all mature. So, I think we can handle a few measly curse words. Plus, it was doing what you all were talking about, changing totally irrelevant words into other things because it thought you were cursing. lol

I have to admit, the idea of an arseistant was amusing. XD But yes. Thanks, shannon!
