Yes, The Happening was absolutely terrible. I even spent money to see it in the theatre. The trailer made it look good, but it turned out to be the worst movie I had ever seen. I don't know what I expected from M. Night Shyamalan.

@ Cyraus: Oh, I was extremely captured by "Monster" ! It's so thrilling and intelligent, and I couldn't hardly wait for every new volume to be released. How this whole, ingenious story is unfurling while reading... an experience par excellence!


@ Cait: I had a similar experience with The Happening as you. The trailer looked interesting, but the actual movie... gosh, it has so many problems. LOL And I actually quite liked "The Village" haha... I liked the idea of it. But that movie also has tremendous plotholes if you think about it.

It was the American version... I have seen both, but I must say I prefer the Swedish version, mainly because of Lisbeth Salander; she disappointed me in the US version... I haven't read the books I must admit... I haven't read books in years (except for Breakfast on Pluto but thats a whole other story!) but I am not sure I could handle reading the scenes of torture and that... but I know my mother read them and was pretty excited about them!

Bahaha. I may enjoy Shakespeare, but that is funny Bunnie. Heh. I just rhymed.

And the books are very good, Phantom Lady. The torture scenes aren't nearly as drawn out as they are in the movies, but they're no less disturbing... No matter, great series; one of my favorites.

And anyone who hasn't seen Drag Me To Hell has not experienced one of the worst experiences one can have with a movie. =_= It's... disgusting, but not in an appalling way; no, a ridiculous way. It's actually quite laughable how bad it is. It seems more of a comedy than a horror. A pointless horror, so watch out Wikkle. XD
