I heard people trashing the movie before it even came out. Why? Because Wes Craven made a PG-13 non-horror movie, and they were pissed off about it. Childish, I think so. I really don't get it. That was like... the absolute first thing people started picking at. "Wes Craven stepping out of his forte!" Give me a effing break. He's allowed to make whatever he wants to. It's just like actors stepping out of what roles they're comfortable playing. I think it'll be interesting to see how Red Eye unfolds. But, people have already seen it at early screenings and such and they're already bashing it. They're calling it a horror movie. They're making fun of the trailers saying it looks like a 'corny action flick'. I mean... I don't get it. Plus, I read a spoiler on accident dealing with the 'stabbing Jackson' thing. I thought the whole 'idea' was creative and everybody else is thinking the scene was stupid. There was a reason she stabbed him. Not a typical reason that you're probably thinking. She didn't do it just to injure him. If you want to know, PM me and I'll tell you, but I'm not going to post it, in fear of ruining it for others. But, quite honestly, I think people need to be a little more open-minded, instead of so close-minded like these idiots are acting.

Exactly. Just because Wes is known for horror movies, doesn't mean he can't make movies of another genre. And people are pissed off because they say the trailer is misleading..? Anyhow, I'd like to hear that spoiler, so I'll PM you. But I did just read one review, and though they didn't seem to like the movie that much, at least they recognize Cill's talent. "Both Rachel McAdams and Cillian Murphy are a pleasure to watch and seem to relish the roles they've been given. If you were as impressed as I was with Cillian Murphy's performance in Batman Begins as Scarecrow then you'll be really happy to see him in this film."Source is here, www.monstersatplay.com/review/film/redeye.php

I'm ignoring them *puts fingers in ears* la, la, la, la
Anyway, I looked at a production still of Red Eye and it's apparent that Jackson is sitting in 18F. Well, guess what, I'm going to Florida on August 22nd, and guess where I'm sitting? 18F, baby! Isn't that crazy?
Just a little positivity to get our minds over the asinine reviews.

Yeah, that's why Rachel writes on the bathroom mirror...
"18F has bomb"

"Rachel McAdams observes that there was a similar juxtaposition between the actor Cillian Murphy and his role. 'At first glance you wouldn't think Cillian would make a good Jackson because he's so nice and cheerful and accommodating, but when the camera is on, he can really turn on a dime. He was very intense and focused, which was exhilarating, and a little frightening, too,' she laughs. 'He was so great to work with.'
Murphy had equal praise for his co-star, saying, 'Rachel is the sweetest, most generous actress I've ever worked with. I think she was the perfect actress to play Lisa because she is obviously talented and stunningly beautiful, but, more importantly, she's somebody that audience members can immediately connect with. It's so important that the audience be invested in her character, because it's Lisa's journey and they have to be right there with her the whole time. The range of emotions she goes through in this movie pretty much runs the gamut, and Rachel was phenomenal. She can do anything.'"
He sure does know how to flatter and compliment a woman. lol

That picture... And that picture are my two all time favorites. I love when people are happy. Cillian must have been happy during that premiere. I've never seen that guy smile so much in my life. All the pictures of Cillian and Rachel came out amazingly. They both look extremely happy.
