Well, that's not exactly what Jonathan Crane says, but it'll do... Oh my god, it was really good! And I'm not being biased or anything here (seriously!) but Cillian was the best thing about it. His mere presence on screen captivated me and I have to say, he stole each scene. Okay, it's late, I might be a wee bit biased [right now] and I can't really put into words how great the movie was, but I think it is by far the best Batman movie ever made. Chris Nolan and David Goyer are geniuses!
That's it for now...gotta get me some beauty sleep. I'll be back tomorrow with a better and open-mind about the film.

Me, Femke and another friend who isn't obsessed but has to come with us are going to see Batman pretty soon also, we don't know when though...... ;D There were some articles about Batman Begins in the dutch newspapers, but Cillian's name isn't mentioned anywhere

I saw Batman Begins too! - Cillian was really good and yes, kind of creepy but he's so good in those roles, I love it! As far as the movie goes i thought it was kind of blah... but I'm not an action/comic book flic kind-of-girl... can't wait to see Red Eye!
*PS- sweet suprise - my mom recently made me wacth Cold Montain because she absolutely loved it and I thought I was going to be bored out of my mind until guess who showed up, Cillian! Omg I was so happy and watched the movie with my eyes wide-open from then on!

Saw it opening night with my other half .. what a script! What a great movie! I'm surprised it turned out that good - I was expecting it to be half decent action rubbish with thankfully a bit of Cillian eye candy for me ... he wasn't in it enough for my liking, and we didn't get to see that much or the asylum, but geez I enjoyed this film. Going again next week Scarecrow WAS creepy. When he first appeared, Shane gasped and went "OH my god... oh my GOD!" which nearly set me off laughing! (he hadn't seen any previews , trailers etc.. just the stills I have from here LOL) As for Dr Crane..... hoooooo boy does that man look good in glasses. Some heart stopping close shots I'm pleased to report. Classy performances all around, I loved Michael Caine as Alfred, which surprised me, I loved Michael Gough in the role so much I didn't think I'd warm to him but he hits it perfectly. Just enough funny lines without any "camp" creeping in. I like the dark gritty tone, the baddies are actually mean, dangerous and powerful, and NO PLOT HOLES. WOW. That last point truly amazes me. The next film is set up really well, too. Bring it on .. but, yes, RED EYE - damn the trailer for that is good. Cheers ~Ultra

Yes, didn't he just ooze cool? Anyway, every time he was onscreen he was.. compelling, so in that sense that makes up for less screen time. And hi again, if anyone remembers me

Gahh my membership here lapsed, which is why I haven't been getting notices in my mailbox. *pout* ANYWAY... I saw it last night, and you're right, Jo -- Cillian was THE best thing about it. *swoon* he was seriously AMAZING. It was so refreshing to see him as a villain. I really enjoyed the movie, and Christian Bale as well (he looked almost Newsies-young in some of the flashback shots ^_^). Cillian was just too good, tho. Those eyes... there were so many closeups... they can get downright icy/scary if need be! Les (who is extremely glad to be back here)

Cillian was AMAZING! And he was adorable with his glasses. But Scarecrow scared my friend so I'm gonna probably make a mask or buy one if there are any during Halloween and spook her!! XD

I loved the movie, Cillian did great in it too. Very Creepy, and just the way he looks fits the role perfectly. His eyes were startling in the movie also. I think i may have to see it again sometime.
