I personally thought that Cillian and Jack White the musician guy, literally both on and off screen (even though Cillian is too) should have switched characters.
Sure Jack White is an a FAMOUS band (that Cillian likes) but I would have preferred to see Cillian as Jack's character, get some more of Cillian singing...and Jacks' kind of hideous to look at for all those scenes. It would have been much easier on the eyes if I had seen Cilllian in his place.
I'm sure you all could agree.

Yeah I agree QuestionSleep!!
Cillian would have rocked Jack's part - and the charm would have been 10 times more there

I used to love the White Stripes...I still do but I think Cillian all the way - let Jack get shot in the back after 3 seconds of air-time thanks!

I know. I mean seriously, Jack is fugly, and yes, Cillian would have been much more charming.
I think its just because Renee really was dating Jack, and he was 'more of a musician' which sucks, because....yeah, Cillian should have gotten the role. But, what can you do.
I'd just mentally super-impose Cillians head on Jacks, and think of his voice.
Thats what I'll do, god forbid I ever sit though that long story again just to see Cillian for 2 minutes.
