I won't set the criteria for what constitutes the greatest form of art; I'll let you set your own criteria. Please tell what you believe the greatest form of art is and why you believe it to be that.
I believe the greatest form of art is music. At first, I was tempted to say film, but then I remembered why I love film so much more than movies. There are a lot of reasons why I prefer film, but the most important one is that it uses music.
I can't think of any other form of art that can move me to tears, make both my body and my soul dance, or make me truly happy faster than music can, so I choose music. It provides an emotional experience I can't get from anything else.

What a great question! There are so many great forms of art that I like! It's real hard to choose. I'm a big music fan, I love art (as in paintings, drawings, etc), but my favorite is dance. I feel that with dancing, you can express what you are feeling inside and let out all of your emotions. I don't think that there is ONLY ONE greatest form but dancing is my favorite.

i think they're all so unique and personal that you can't really say one's the greatest...i think all forms are so strong in their own way.....personally, i enjoy music, art, and film
i love music....it's such a strong way of expressing emotions and i just get so much satisfaction out of music both playing it and enjoying it
i love art, both drawing/painting etc. and photography....i love drawing and painting and creating things...i'm not good or talented....but i still love it anyways....i love photography....i was always kinda interested but like last summer, i got a camera and i've just been really into it ever since and i think it's so great
film...well, ahem, did i mention cillian? lol, no...but film is like...i can't explain it...people express real emotions and evoke emotions out of audiences and i think that in itself is amazing
phew, now i'm done

I love music But i won't say it is the best form of art because art is a means of expressoing emotion, and people have different ways of doing that... just because I write poetry and sing... because that's how i best express myself, ddoesn't mean it's the best form, it's just wthat's right for me

I guess my point really was that since you have to supply your own criteria, there really isn't one "greatest form of art," but rather only subjective measures determined by the individual, so you're really determining what the greatest form of art for you is rather than an overall greatest. Good answers, everyone.

I say film, as it can be a combination of photography, music, 'moving pictures', poetry, and creative writing all in one fantastic medium.
