Hi people, as I´m in kinda weird mood today and I just wanted to share sth. with you I got today when I had to buy a real BIIIGG book for anatomy class on university (paid 100 euro for that. ).. ...and this was sth. that cheered me up a bit. It was a book-mark I got from the staff in the library: First the text in German and also the translation MUTbedeutet nicht, keine Angst zu haben; es ist die Entscheidung, daß etwas anderes wichtiger ist, als die Angst. COURAGEdoesn´t mean not to be afraid; it means to make the deciision that something is more important than to be afraid. I think that´s true and for those of you and also myself being in a weird/difficult situation, maybe afraid of what will happen in the future or sth. like that, having this in mind could help a bit... Alex

Alex it's great It took me long time to understand, that people aren't necessarily able to do things, that I'm afraid of, because they are without fear. Sometimes it's because they conquer their fear. I try to learn from that.

I like it - thanx - here's another:
"Courage isn't always the lion's roar. It is sometimes the heart, at the end of the day, saying "I will try again tomorrow"."

That's really good! It's like this quote we had to respond to in English a few days back: "Courage is resistance of fear, mastery of fear - not absence of fear."
