i really like my job.........i like a sense of purpose and all, but..................... DO I REALLY HAVE TO GO!!! i don't want to *sniff * . i could clean my room today, i could read, i could make pasta sauce that i could freeze and would last me all month, or i could bake that apple pie that i've been contemplating. -OR- i could do what i really want to do and grab a couple of guy friends and go steal some pumpkins. and don't give me that poor farmers bit. maybe in the midwest but this is LI, land of soaring property value. end rant.

What is your job? If I didn't show up to work, some poor little autistic child wouldn't have anyone to teach them for the day. But pumpkins are fun. ;D

my best guy friend and some other good friends work with autistic children. it seems very rewarding, but you definitely take your work home with you. i work for a non-profit in a residence/shelter for homeless teenage mothers. it's a normal house, donated by rich people along with the county. we drive them to court, dept. of labor, social services, dr's appointments, etc. we teach them how to use public transportation and get their finances in order, parenting techniques, drivers license, etc. it's pretty heavy. i'm 23, and i sometimes have a 16 year old girl ready to kill me. interesting to say the least, hahaha.

Thanks so much! It actually took 3 hours to do it that way because I did it myself. It takes a special occasion like Star Wars to get me to put that much effort into my hair. Here's a close-up shot of the do. I was really proud of it too. www.geocities.com/supergreenjedi/hair.jpg[/img]
