This movie is absolutely fantastic. (More than that, perhaps.) For the most part, it takes place in southern Ireland. It's about the life of this boy named Frank McCourt. It's just great... Hah. That's all I want to say about it too, because I don't want to give anything away. Oh, and when the narrator started to speak I immediately skipped to the credits to make sure that Cillian wasn't doing the job of the narrator. Hah. But, if you are into movies set back in like the 1920's, this is a good movie for you. (I'm not quite sure that it's set in the 20's, but around there.) See it. ;D

OK, so I know there is a book to this. And I havent seen the movie. So, hah, I know nothing about Angela's Ashes. BUT this year in english we have 6 books to choose from to study on our own. Would this book be a wise choice? I know I am asking about the book...haha but yah....

Yeah, the movie is based on a book... And if the whole thing about books being better than movies, the book must be the best. :]

Hah. That's weird because I'm a sophomore in high school now and I just saw it. And I will have to agree that the actor that plays Frank is cute. (He reminded me of Cill in a way. His face, if you were to get rid of his eyes, looked slightly similar. The lips, cheeks, and nose. But only a little bit. Eensy, weensy, tiny bit. :-))

Hmm. Maybe I should try finding some video clips off of YouTube so everybody can see just a bit... Here's one. It's just music and it gets a bit boring, but it's the only one that I was able to find. :[ www.youtube.com/v/VyFnBo1KqiMHere's some pictures of the actor that plays Frank McCourt, too.
