So this week on all the talk shows they've talked about the Fantastic Four movie coming out and they had the Mister Fantastic guy on. He's Welsh and even he said his name is sooo dificult to spell it's pronounced "Yoan *Something*Cliffe" lol I don't remember it well but he certainly caught my eye with his charming accent and looks - just like Cillian Murphy did and I'm just wondering if anyone else thinks he's cute too- you never know, this could start off a whole bunch-o-new crazed fans cept this guy has a much weirder name I tell you!

He's name is Ioan Guffard or something like that. But, it's pronounced Johann Griffith. He hasn't caught my eye, but his name has.

Found none with 'Guffard', instead 'Gruffudd'. Niiiiice cheekbones :3
He was in Black Hawk Down. How come I didn't notice him...? I need to watch it again.

I first saw him in the A&E's "Horatio Hornblower" series. He is a gorgeous guy. I do like him a lot. I haven't seen "Fantastic 4" yet though because I thought it looked stupid. But I do like the actor. Maybe he can use this role as a launching point for larger exposure to better roles.

yeah.... i was going to see batman again today then we go tthere and there was Fantastic 4 playing in liek 5 min..... but i stayed loyal to Cillian.... so i've yet to see it

Good job loyal one! and yeah what is with all the hype for fantastic 4?? I mean - every commercial on TV is sponsering the Fantastic 4 and what if it actually sucks?? lol They have had everyone of those actors in every interveiw on every talk show EVERYDAY this week and it doesn't even look that great! I'm glad I'm not the only one to notice Iaon Guffard's looks - I shall give myself brownie points  ....and then not see the movie  even though that actor from Buffy The Vampire Slayer is in it...or was he from Nip and Tuck... or both?? Oh i'm confizzled   |

Julian McMahon who plays Dr Von Doom in Fantastic Four is the guy you're talking about and he acts in Nip/Tuck and used to be on Charmed (not BtVS, hehe).

Julian McMahon. So that's his name? I only knew him as Cole. Crazy, awesome, evil, psycho Cole. I gotta tell Marcus he's in it... He'll go crazy. He's totally in love with him... ;D
Cole was the only reason to watch Charmed. And then, after going invincible, he dies. And the show's back to boring...

You girls crack me up! Ioan Griffud (IMDB: www.imdb.com/name/nm0344435/ ) was also in King Arthur - that is worth checking out. I know it copped a beating in the ratings, but I liked that movie. Not tempted to see Fan. Four either .. trailers looked rubbish and I never knew the comics/old show / whatever it came from. Cheers ~Ultra |
