These posts are gonna make me cry! I can't believe you guys didn't like it. IMO, I don't think you can compare Nightmare to Corpse. They're totally different stories and movies. The only thing they have in common is the animation.

I didn't compare the two, I just said I think Nightmare is better. Meaning, in most cases, I'd rather watch Nightmare. I'm not saying I hated Corpse Bride, it was cute, but not the best ever.

I love Tim's films but this was just a huge disappointment, much like Ed Wood. *gasp*!! What are you saying?!?! "Ed Wood" wasn't good? I quite enjoyed it... it was weird... but i much enjoyed it... I loved it!! But "nightmare Before Christmas" is one of tim burton's best... along with "batman Begins" and "edward Scizzorhands"

Errr...Batman Begins was directed by Christopher Nolan, not Burton. Burton did "Batman Returns".

I didn't hate it but i didn't care for it either. It was a beautiful film the visual was great. the story however was lacking. and the music had me f*cking confused it felt rushed and they should have taken more time to really put it together. TOO bad! It could have been great but unfortunately it was only mediocre.

I agree, it seemed like they were rushing to get a minimum number of songs into the film and just started slapping them in anywhere.

huh?? is that right that corpse bride is THAT bad? im not watch it yet and i really wanna watch it before. but after i see all this posts i...dont know what to do.. I think its a good movie becoz Tim Burton is the director and Johnny Depp is the main character (voice) in that film and they were a good couple and have made many great film together (edward Scissorhands, charlie and the chocolate factory, etc) hehe... ;D ;D

Corpse Bride is about a young man named Victor who is going to get married to a woman named Victoria because of an arranged marriage. During the rehearsal he runs out into the woods and recites his vows. After he says his vows he takes out the wedding ring and puts it on what looks to be a twig but is actually the boney finger of the Corpse Bride. huh?? is that right that corpse bride is THAT bad? im not watch it yet and i really wanna watch it before. but after i see all this posts i...dont know what to do.. I think CB is one of those movies that you either love it or you don't care much for it (at least thats what I got from the people I've asked about it) If you like it that's great, if you don't then at least you got to see some wonderful imagery for an hour.

i will judge it when i see it... It doesn't look as colourful and interesting as TNBC... but either, it's tim burton... You've got to love him!
