Anyone here seen it? I saw it last night with a friend and I was really dissapointed. Rachel being in it was one of the only things I liked. I mean, it had its funny moments, but overall...

I haven't seen it yet, was planning on going though, but if you say you were disappointed, I'm going to give it a second thought... why were you disappointed?

^Just see it for yourself. Maybe you'll like it a lot. It all depends on the person.

Ah, s'true. But, if the acting sucked for example, I think I'll wait till it's on dvd to watch it. I'm just wondering what Lisa thought was bad about it.

It wasn't a bad movie, by any means! It just wasn't nearly as good as I thought it would be. The acting was good, the cast was good, but it just lacked something. I don't really know what. I'd reccomend seeing it, though, if you were already planning to. You might end up completely disagreeing with me.

It looks funny enough. I saw Rachel on Conan and he was asking her how it feels to play a mean character again, a b*tch, basically. And she said, 'well, Sarah is the sweetheart in the movie, so everyone already loves her. It wasn't too hard.' Then she talks about a particular scene where they were playing charades and Sarah was the one acting things out. The director tells Rachel to yell out something mean and so, when they said "action", she yells out, "WH*RE!" The whole set just goes completely silent. She then says, "Too much!?"...... I'm guessing they didn't use that line in the movie!

^ The ending was VERY predicatable, and rather corny, but the story, overall, was fine, or even good. But if you usually wait for the DVDs to come out for comedies, then I'd say wait on this one.

This movie was really good. (I mean, I liked it anyways)
But I made the mistake of watching it in May when it totally has a Christmas feel to it. But I loved the part when Sarah's character goes off about everyone hating her and -accidently- sleeping with his brother. And Emmett goes WHAT?! WHICH BROTHER?! and his gay brother goes, "uh.. not me!!" and that whole scene. I couldn't stop laughing.

I think a lot of people were disappointed in it because in all of the trailers it was like, "This is going to be a GREAT COMEDY!" and then... it was actually more of a drama. It threw people too far off for everyone to have been satisfied.
I just watched a Conan interview with Rachel (yesterday, actually) and she was talking about the charades scene and she said something like, "We were all improving and they were like 'Princess Bride!' and 'Beekeeper!' and I said, 'wh*re!' The whole set went dead quiet and I was like, '...too much?'" HAHAHAHA. She is eternally adorable. If I can't have Cillian, at least Rachel should. xP
