Oh yeah, The Exorcist is so freakin' scary that I can't even watch the previews or clips from the movie. I've never seen it but dont' even plan to! What I think is so scary about this film is that a possession like that can actually happen to someone. OMG freaky!!! War of the Worlds with Tom Cruise wasn't really scary but it did give me the chills. Just some parts wigged me out. The sounds the aliens would make when they were about to zap someone into dust wigged me out. Freaky!! I'm not at all a fan of horror films. I'm very squeamish and I scare easily!! But yeah, The Exorcist is one of the scariest movies of all time and I think the only way someone would get me to watch this movie is if they had a gun to my head and told me to watch this movie or die!! Seriously. Anyway, talk to you later! ~LaTissa~

There has not been one movie I have evah been afraid of and Iam not kiddin. To me it is corny or just good...Lol Like May is good, very bloody, not scary to me....Ummm...OH! Misery is a good one. Very intense but to me not scary. Audtion is very good too...But honestly nothin scares me...Only spiders. When one gets on me I freak, no matter the size. I guess you can say I turn into the Ichabod type when a spider is near me. It doesnt scare me though on TV or in a cage. Lol...Just not on me or any where near me. I made my friend go under my bed to get the spider. Lol. You see, she is afraid of everything but spiders and insects and Im the one who loooves the gore and death and misery but not spiders....Make sense? I have ARACHNAPHOBIA! WOOO! Im a geek...*sighs*

Stephen King is a freaking genius! I love all of his movies. Especially The Shining. One of my favs. The Exorcist is one of my favorites too. I have the uncut version and it is nuts. When you watch that movie, you can actually feel like your in her room. It's creepy, i get that way everytime i watch that movie.

Ringu- The original Japanese version of The Ring. It was more frightening by the fact that Sadako is much creepier than Samara and that it was more subtle in its horror.
Audition- I dare you to try watching a woman stick needles into a man's feet for prolonged periods of time and not feel paranoid later.
The Hannibal Lecter Movies- Anthony Hopkins as the Good Doctor, to this day, still creeps the bejeebus out of me.
28 Days Later- Call me a wuss all you want, but this still creeps me out. Oh well, seeing Cillian naked made up for it.

Gothika really scared me the first time I watched it. Just little things, like the girl on the street or when Halle Berry's character kept seeing things in the mental institution.

I know there have been a lot of movies that scared me as a child... namely The Blob, John Carpenter's The Thing, as well as any little tidbits I happened to catch on the telly that my parents probably didn't want me watching. I wasn't really into scary movies as a kid for those reasons alone. But, as I got older, my circle of friends really got me into horror movies, and while nothing really *scares* me scares me, there are some that do really freak me out.
The one and only movie that I ever watched that made me sleep with the lights on for a week was Donnie Darko, and this was only three years ago. It's not a real scary movie, it's more of a psychological thriller than anything else, but it was the mood and setting we were in while we watched it, as well as the freaky mask of Frank, the giant rabbit... Yes, it sounds foolish, but trust me, at the time, it scared me out of my wits.
The Grudge wasn't any better. I have to admit, it was a sleepless night after that one.
I'm hoping though, that when Silent Hill is released on Friday, it will blow everything else out of the water. The video games were frightening and twisted beyond reason, which is why I loved them so much. I just hope that the movie does it justice, even if it does mean sacrificing sleep for a (hopefully) good movie.

Movie that scared me 'cause it was the first time I saw propaganda in action: E.T. I still think it's the emotional equivalent of having someone knock you in the head with a full film can. The fact that other people don't see it that way scares me. A lot.
Movie that scared me 'cause it just freaking scared me: American Werewolf in London. I've never gotten past the dream-within-a-dream thing-at-the-door scene.
Movie that scared me that I nonetheless managed to watch all the way through: Rawhead Rex. JEEZ-FOR-CREEPY. Simple rule: monsters should not kill small children in movies. Guess ol' Rawhead missed the memo.

I know this is silly, but when Jeepers Creepers 2 came out I saw it and had to spend the weekend alone in my house. And every time I turned off the lights Ito go to sleep, I imagened the Creeper outside my bedroom window licking the glass, I didn't sleep at all that weekend. Also, The Haunting, not scary, but extremely suspensiful, thats what stands out about the movie. But the scariest movie out off all that I have seen, Salem's Lot (old) that movie still scares me today.

Oh, geez...I'm a wuss...I haven't seen that many, the two that I can think of right now would be Jeepers Creepers and Amityville Horror. And 28 Days Later. Haha.
Jeepers Creepers-Didn't really scare me all that much, but it was the gore and stuff, like that ending scene, you know? I'm quite squeamish...
Amityville Horror-This is the most f*cking scary movie I've ever seen. I didn't sleep. AT ALL. That night. But that might of been because I watched it at three AM in the dark, by myself. Hehe. My sister sucks. That whole night, I kept seeing the bullet-hole/closet scene replay in my head.
28 Days Later-Not scary, but gross.
When I was little, I was so creeped out by this movie, I don't even remember what it was called, but it was about a guy who gets abducted by aliens.
And then, not a scary movie, I know, but I didn't sleep after I watched one of those old Batman movies with the Penguin. That guy scared the hell out of me, please, don't ask why.

Okay, here's a couple of scary movies that definitely had an effect on me:
1) Ju-On: The Grudge-- Good Lord. And I thought the American version was scary.
2) Hostel-- Okay, this didn't really scare me, but I felt horribly bad for the people being tortured, and completely icky after it was over.
3) Amityville Horror ( The recent one with Ryan Reynolds)-- I watched this movie a couple of months ago at about midnight on a weekend. ( Stupid me) This movie completely freaked me out because it was so effective. Every time I would least expect it, one of those ghastly-looking torture victims ( or whatever they are) would jump out with a BOOM. I couldn't sleep very well for a week after that.
4) The Shining-- I love reading Stephen King's books and think he is excellent at thinking up all those complex plots. Although this movie didn't have too much an effect on me, I was freaked out by the hotel and how you can be with someone that has been crazy for who knows how long.
5) Gothika-- It really scared the hell out of me the first time I saw it, and frankly, I don't really know why. I think maybe just the atmosphere of it all and that CREEPY girl. Today, I most likely will pass up the chance of watching it again.
Well, that's about it, I guess. Just watch, as soon as this is posted I will remember another one. Lol.
