Hello everyone, I have yet to formally introduce myself so here goes. My name is Jem and I am addicted to CM, no, its not a new drug but a really hot Irish guy! You guys my obsession began about 2 weeks ago. I saw 28 days later for the 2nd time b/c my sister hadn't seen it yet, and although I always thought he was hot, seeing him for the 2nd time got me smitten. Carla, I thought what you said about having butterflies was so fuunny b/c I myself haven't crushed so bad since I met my bf as well! I guess that's why we fall so hard. He seems so genuine, not like the other played out actors, like Brad Pitt, Orlando Bloom, dont get me wrong, these guys are cute but I feel they don't have that spark. Cillian is like the guy you had a crush on on elementary school, he has this boyish charm about him. He also seems mysterious, man I can't wait till Batman comes out, then we'll see a whole lot more of him. I envy whoever wins tickets to see the movie premeire cuz they'll get to see Cillian in person! Oh yeah last night I saw half of 28 days- again, its so bad to watch him cuz its like feeding an addiction and you can't get enough, lol. I have On the Edge coming in the mail from Netflix and I can't wait. Next is Disco Pigs. Now I want to see more of him and his great acting  Hey guys I have a few question about the forum, how do I get my picture of Cill' to show on the right? Was Intermission released in the US theatre's yet? I am dying to know Thanks guys, it was fun coming clean! |

I can't wait for Batman Begins either! It's going to be really good.  And Cillian is going to be really awesome as the Scarecrow.
You'll definitely like On The Edge and I hope you'll like Disco Pigs; although, it's a bit darker and very much an indie film so it's not everyone's cup of tea but it's very good. It's my favourite Cillian film, in fact. Check your local paper to see if Intermission is out in your theatres. I know it's finally playing in Australia and Canada so it could still be making its debut in other US cities. 
As for posting photos on this board, you need to have a web host to that. Try villagephotos.com, it's free and very easy to use.

Hey Jo, I saw On The Edge last night, oh man he is awesome! lol his role was too cute! It was a real cool movie and I wouldn't mind owning it, its one of those you don't mind seeing again and again! lol As for the the picture, are you referring to the one on the side, like some people have buddy icons of 28 days later and you have a picture of him from Disco Pigs, you mean I can't do that? Hey guys! I'm new here, so I thought I better introduce myself: I never thought I'd be a part of a chat group, but I'm totally infected with Cillian-itis, and for the past few months I've been searching for any info about him (especially for pics). I have recently joined CMIE (Tek's MSN group) and recognize several of your names. I'm 29 & I have a final divorce hearing coming up in a few weeks (I'm available, Cillian!  ), and, don't laugh, but I actually have pictures of Cillian posted in my bedroom. Seems very teeny-bopish, but I justify it by the fact that at least he's my age! I have 2 small children, a pug dog, and I am beginning a new career since I finally went back and finished college. I'm thinking about dating soon. So you see, I am in a transitional period in life, but in the meantime, I'm enjoying this wonderful distraction called Cillian Murphy! I'm hoping more of you will pop in-- I'm feeling the energy & passion he conveys in his acting, and I'm eager to converse! Thanks to Jo for creating this forum (and her Website)! |

Hi Puggems2! Another newie here, only I hogged a new thread all to myself ;D Good to see other folk 'finding their way' to this site & forum, there's just not enough out there, except a few sites put up right after 28DL then forgotten about. Thank you Jo!!!! Too funny, about putting posters up - I have framed David Bowie posters all over the house ( in competition with my hubbie's Daleks & Star Wars figures) and a hard drive full of Larry Mullen Jr from U2, so you're in good company in teenybopperdom here. hello all, This is miss grace and I have slowly been won over by the charms of cillian murphy . I always thought that the guy from 28 days later was fine, but strangely enough it wasn't until recently when I borrowed gwpe from a friend ,that I publicly admitted to having a girly crush on him(even though he looked like a garden gnome!) It's great to know that there are other fans out there who should know better(if you know what i mean!) but can't help but be in awe of this beautiful talented actor. Hello. My name is Libby and I am 17 years old. I am a big Cillian fan even though I ahve only seen him in 28 Days Later. I think he is a terific actor and most of all one of the most gorgous man I ever seen. I want to see the rest of all his movies. I think the cilliain-murphy website is really the best. It has all the pictures and articles. I saved some of the pictures and made a screen saver on my family' s computer. My dad freaked out when he used it. Cillian seems to be a very nice guy too. I hope after he becomesw big after Batman he won't get bigheaded or anything. Do you think he will? I really hope not. |
