I am cracking up at these posts by bitterpigs & discoharvest, whom are both 18 years old! It's almost insulting. I am the exact age as Cillian, and I don't have wrinkles, crows feet, age spots, or lines. I have always looked younger than my age, which used to be frustrating, but I guess that now that I am 30, it's fab! Now, here's proof that Cill has not had any work done: What's the first thing a celebrity gets done if they want to be perfect? They get VENEERS. That's right, they cap all of their teeth & have a perfectly white, straight smile. Example of this gone wrong -- Hillary Duff -- I cannot stand to look at the freak. Our boy has his natural teeth, which are lovely. And, BTW, I don't think that Cill's skin is flawless (except in touch-up photos), which makes him even more interesting and appealing.

Yeah, how your skin ages depends on so many things. Besides, I've heard that 40 is the new 30. I'm 46, and it's only in the last year or so that I've started to get some noticeable lines here and there, so it really varies from person to person. Cillian seems like one of the last people who would get plastic surgery.

i think he would do it if it was a matter of career cause he always says how he would be miserable doing anything besides acting, i mean he dropped out of college to go be in a play. thats devotion cause college is expensive and u have to pay it back immidiatly if you drop out.

Well, your appearance is affected by other things besides age. It also depends greatly on your lifestyle.
Let's take Lindsay Lohan as an example. She's known for partying a lot and she's even admitted to having a drug problem. Also, she's known for having an orangeish complexion from her frequent visits to the tanning salons. Drugs, aside from messing you up inside, also really messes up your physical appearance. And the constant partying and the fact that she's working on multiple movies all at once isn't helping because she's probably not even getting enough sleep. Plus, it's a proven fact that those tanning beds are worse for your skin that regular sunlight. Spending about thirty minuets in a tanning bed is the equivalent to spening up to three to four hours in the sun without sunscreen on. When you think about it like that, that's like asking for skin cancer to be coming up.
And as for myself, I live in Arizona, and it can get up to some really scorching temperatures here. I have naturally pale skin, so I wear sunblock everytime I go outside and I stay inside most of the time anyway. And I'm almost a senior in high school, but I still look like a freshman. But I people tell me I'll be more thankful for it when I'm 35 but still look 27.
I know, Hilary Duff has these horse-like teeth. (shudders)

That's very true about drugs and alcohol aging people. It might not show up right away, but it will eventually catch up to people. I've heard it's much more important to take care of your skin in terms of using good cleansers, moisturisers, etc., rather than relying on make-up. Make-up has problems of its own, especially if you have large pores, but the better care you take of your skin when you're young, the better it will look as you age.
Kizuna, I always looked a lot younger than I was. I would get so annoyed when I was in my mid-20s and people would say I looked 16. At the time I thought it was insulting. Family members would tell me I'd appreciate it later, and of course, I knew they were wrong. Imagine my shock when they were right. When I was in my 30s and looked like I was in my 20s, I suddenly had a new appreciation of the age-perception thing. Now that I'm in my 40s and still look like I'm in my 30s, I'm thinking it's a pretty good deal. I can probably count on both hands the number of times I've worn make-up, but I've used good cleansers, astringents, etc., for many years, and it's really paid off. Plus I avoided all the partying; it never appealed to me on any level.
So if Cillian takes good care of his skin, stops smoking, and drinks moderately, he should have a youthful-looking appearance for a long time. I still don't think he'd have surgery to look good; there are many actors who can get good roles, even leading roles, who don't have "movie star" looks.
As for the law-school thing, he was taking 10 hours of classes a week, so it wasn't a full-time law program. He didn't particularly want to be a lawyer, but took the classes because it was such a small time commitment. I don't know how the university system works in the U.K., but if he was only going to school part-time to begin with, he might not have been paying as much. I can't imagine he was earning much in Disco Pigs, but he must have felt it was a fair trade-off.

about the college thing i know its very, very expensive as is here because i looked into a college over in England that i was considering and it was the same price, unfortunatly.
but i agree w/ starting early on skin care cause it will definantly pay off later, and yeah if cillian continues smoking though he will start to age really quickly i guarentee that we will notice it w/in the next 5 yrs. i've never seen a youthful looking smoker when they hit 30.
