I was watching a myriad of Cillian films this week and something occurred to me, but I'm not sure if it's only me.
Is Cillian's voice deeper with an accent? Watching 28 days later and On the edge and other films where he was allowed an accent, his voice seems so much deeper than in Red Eye or BB.
Am I the only one who thinks this?

i do notice that when he does american accents, he sounds more nasal-y. so maybe that's why you're hearing a difference.

Mmmm...pretty soon it'll be so low we won't be able to hear it. Like, have you ever heard a bass violin? It's hard to hear because it's so low. Or like those things that you put on your car that are so high pitched that only animals can hear them. Only, you know, the opposite.

:-P Cillian, master of the in-audible voices? Just another thing we can add to his long list of amazingness. gogohorrorshow>> That's a good point. I haven't thought about that. *goes to re-watch movies* :-P

I noticed this too ... maybe he gaves different voices for different characters ... like a distinctive mark for every character ... some people uses different voices dependent on, to wich counterpart they speak ... maybe he´s such a "multiple-speaker" but anyway... his voice is mind-blowing with every accent and in every pitch

He may have to use a higher pitch to achieve the American accents he portrays. But yeah I've noticed it.

Cillian has mentioned changing his voice for his characters in some article. I can't remember which one though.
