OK. It's been two weeks now since I have discovered Mr. Murphy and he totally conquered my existence. I think of nothing but him, I've watched his movies like a dozen times each, I look at his pictures all the time, I'm going to London, I'm writing a script... actually two scripts... and when I close my eyes I see nothing but his totaly "not from this planet" eyes. And the worst part.. my English is slightly turning Irish... Question (for those of you who have been here longer than I have): does this ever go away?... I mean it's a pretty sweet torture... but I kinda need my mind back to myself. I know this is a fan forum , not a mental institution  for desperate women like myself... but I could use all the advice you can give. |

I watched all his movies so many times I can say every line in the film. I never obsess over anything. But there is something about this case that I cannot get over! I can watch him in a film and feel the same way I felt the first time I saw it...it never gets old. And I was watching him being interviewed on the WIND THAT SHAKES THE BARLEY DVD and I must have backed it up a billion times...I just couldn't get over the parts where he lets out that little chuckle.  And it's been like a year now and it hasn't changed. I know...I've seen so many Irish films I use Irish expressions and sometimes slip in an accent. I feel so retarded. And my friends don't make it any better, because they always talk about how Cillian looks like a woman (what?!). I can't stand it! I'm such a normal person and it's so weird to think of myself having an "obsession." I'm not too crazy about it, but still. sorry, I hope it goes away for you...and I don't have advice, cause obviously I have the same problem. |

I've caught myself talking with an Irish accent now and then, but i don't think its really cillian but more like my 80% Irish blood coming out. My mom and alot of my other family members does it to.
I'm a writer myself, and alot of my stories are inspired by cillian's characters. So I guess yeah I guess hes has a slight impact on my life. i mean I'm here most of the time so that should tell you? lol
The way i look at it what kind of life would it be without cillian? I mean I've met alot of really nice and cool people here so i think it's a good thing! I down graded my boredom coming here so yeah lol

^I can't say I have that issue with my heritage coming out through accents. But, honest to God, my whole family smells like garlic. No lie. Even when we haven't eaten a lot of garlic.  It's stuck in our pores. Along with spagetti and pollenta. EEEWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Blondeme I completely know how you feel! I am completely obsessed with Cillian more than any other actor I think. Maybe I'm crazy but hey if being into Cillian is crazy than I'd rather not be sane! ;D
