I am an absolute incompetent as far as about technology..

I just got this software for creating avatars in motion and such (it's called KOOLmoves, or something like that.. LOL) and I cannot figure out how to use it! I am dieing to make my own gif avatar and/or avatar in motion from BOP trailer!! before I couldn't, cause I didn't have the software and now I have the software and I cannot use it!! sob!

can anyone very kindly give me a few tips?

P.S. how the heck can one take screen caps from a videoclip saved on the hardisk?? still with the same software?
