There was a recent issue, regarding the posting of certain Cillian photographs taken by a particular website. And after being e-mailed over legal issues, I feel as though this matter needs to be discussed.
We all love to look at Cillian (otherwise... we wouldn't be here...
). However, there are many legal terms that need to be followed before you post photographs you may have taken from another site. Many of these websites (such as Getty Images, ISIFA, etc.) have their own copyrights to the photographs that they have taken. When you distribute the photographs on this forum, you are violating their copyright and therefore, breaking the rules.
Please do not hotlink such photographs or post them at all on this forum. If you care to share photographs from another site with the other members, please post a direct link to their website instead.
This applies primarily to the main press sites on the internet (as mentioned, Getty Images, ISIFA, etc.). However, if you screencap movies or anything like that, those photographs are acceptable to post.
Please be sensible when you post photographs.
