I think we those readers who haven't already done so, should exhalt the writers who have contributed so far for all of their good work (I'm not talking about me...people have been nice enough to exhalt me already). I'm going to exhalt all the contruters myself, too...but I can't do everyone at once (since the thing won't let me) but I'm going to get to all of you guys...I promise! Thanks so much for sharing your writing!!! ;D

"You're speaking very fast."
His deadpan caught her off-guard, and she realized how fast she was speaking. He did not look at her.
"Sorry," she said. "I just tend to give bad directions--"
"No need to apologize." He stopped at the light on Main and Central. He gave her the briefest of appraising glances. "This isn't a Starbucks, is it?"
She laughed, despite herself. "No. Who do you think I am?"
He nodded and made the turn. "I see. Not a Starbucks person."
She looked at his cool blue eyes. "Are you?"
"I have no preference," he said, but she was almost certain he was lying. Why he wished to hide his coffee rituals from her, she had no idea, but they were nearing Acacia and he was prompting her with a preemptory noise from his throat.
"Okay, it's about half a block down."
The small brown brick building was easily spotted, its bohemian sign lit with Christmas bulbs: Dollars and Scents. Jonathan pulled up along the curb and parked immaculately in front of it. There was a disdainful curve to his full lips.
Rose guessed the cause, and said, "Maybe it's not the kind of place you normally go to, but--" She shrugged and poked him playfully in the shoulder. "Trying new things never hurt anybody!"
He looked down at her hand, and she she saw surprise and confusion mingled with tenderness in his glance. She left her hand on his shoulder, trying to touch the thin arm underneath all the layers of suit and sweater. His expression was unreadable.
"Shall we go in?" he asked.

I love how you gave a little extra bit of personality to Dr. Crane. He doesn't like fast talking, he's picky about his coffee, and he seems a little snobby about bohemian establishments. It's always cool when a writer adds little details like that, because it's easy to get caught up in action and forget that real people have habits and preferences. I thought it was great how he was confused, suprised, and filled with tenderness at her touch, but only showed the feelings in his eyes, not his face. I think you should add another chapter because you definitely left me wanting more. You did a great job! *claps* ;D

*runs around in circles* SRG fanfic, SRG fanfic!! Thanks so much for contributing, I really love the touches you add on the stories and the details as universitygirl mentioned. I can picture Crane being very hesitant about the coffee shop as he's really trying to hide the fact that he's not rich yet, he wouldn't want to be seen in that kind of a shop.
I agree, rewards to the writers! So much fun to give out random Cilly bars and even better when they're very well deserved. Thanks to you all for your wonderful comments and handing out rewards to you all! ;D

Thanks y'all for your comments!  I'm glad you guys liked it. SRG: I love how you went in detail with this whole coffee thing and actually wrote, 'his coffee rituals'! LOL! First it was pijamas, now it's his coffee rituals! Ciaran and I agreed that someone should write a chapter about his underwear! Maybe Rose can spill coffee on his pants or something! ahem. yes, I think we need to take Jonathan's clothes off some how!  Ohio: You get a reward for starting this thread and encouraging everyone! Thank you blue-eyed and scotsrockgod for being so supportive of this idea and for contributing! Everyone has done an amazing job and I'm sooo happy that people are enjoying this...this story keeps getting better and better!!! I seriously can't wait to see what happens next and I can see by all of the people who keep reading this thread that there are plenty of members who are having as much fun as we are!!!! ;D
Perhaps Crane's coffee date will end up with him in his underwear...anything can happen!!! ;D

Who wants to take the next chapter?? It could be someone we haven't heard from before (I'm talking to you silent readers!) or it could be someone who has already contributed. The coffee date is going to be an awesome chapter no matter who does it...so much could happen. It could go well or something bad could happen. Maybe Dr. Crane will end up in his pajamas or underwear (I guess that would mean the date went well, lol). Seriously, this chapter has soooo many fun possibilities...who wants to jump in??

Oh...by the way...if you'd like to write the next chapter, or any following chapter, but are afraid you won't get it done in time and that someone else will get there first...just post and say you'd like to contribute the next part and you need a few days. I know everyone is busy with work, school, ect. and writing isn't something that should be rushed. Please don't feel like you can't participate just because you are busy. Just speak up and say you'd like to jump in and we can give you the time you need. Also...there is no obligation, if you jump in and change your mind a few days later, just say you can't do it...it's all good! Either way...thanks for reading guys!!! ;D

Jonathan and Rose went into the strange looking coffe shop, and took a seat in the back. "Jon,stop looking arond and look at the menu".
"sorry, i'm not used to places like this.I'll have the coffe with irish cream".
"that's what i was about to get,do you drink yours with sugar?"
"no..." Jon said,but recived a disbeliving look from Rose. "ok,but only sometimes when i'm really happy"
"your not really happy now?" she asked smirking.
"fine,i will have sugar"
"ok" she said and kissed him on the forehead.
