What a mistake indeed! Those silly Italians! Lol, joking. Yeah, I noticed that they kept the original name for Sunshine. I'm guessing that if they had changed it to Italian, it would be "Sole", or something like that? Yeah, it would be 'Sole' or 'Luce solare' but surely they would have translated in something else...they didn't change many cillian movies' titles: batman begins, intermission, breakfast on pluto and red eye haven't been traslated, while girl with a pearl earring was just translated into the italian equivalent; cold mountain was changed into something that in english can be 'return to cold mountain' and the wind that shakes the barley has been changend into 'the wind that caresses the grass' (!!). We have talked yet about 28dl I don't know what they will do with watching the detectives...I have to say that in italy, unfortunately, romantic commedies' titles are always changed into something stupid and different from the original, only to recall some other romantic comedies (that surely have nothing to deal with that movie in particular). For istance, Runaway bride was changed into 'if u run away, I marry you'. To recall that movie, they changed 'the eternal sunshine of the spotless mind' into 'If u leave me, I erase you', and then, another movie I don't remember the original title was translated into 'If u run me down, I marry you'...I wish they wouldn't do something similar with wtd...

Hedwigsgal, I'm sure you can cope by dreaming about it until then! What a mistake indeed! Those silly Italians! Lol, joking. Yeah, I noticed that they kept the original name for Sunshine. That's hilarious! "The wind that caresses the grass"! "If you leave me, I erase you"! Hehe, that pretty much gives away a lot of the film!
mihoyubari , does "Alerta Solar", mean "Sun Alert" or something?? Btw, I'm posting my painting now- on a new thread!

It does mean Sun alert... They've done a lot of changes to the titles of movies here as well... Exterminio (extermination) for 28 days later it's a whole different title

Exterminio?? What a crazy name. What have they called the sequel to 28 Days Later? I saw 28 Weeks Later yesterday. I have to say, while it was good, I preferred the first one. I just didn't feel the same suspence that I get every time I watch the first one. The beginning was very tense- but I can't say the same for the rest of the film... Although it did make me cry, tears of sadness for the characters, but tears of joy for the music! I love that song- the one when Jim is running around in the mansion, that is also played a lot in 28WL!

Exterminio?? What a crazy name. What have they called the sequel to 28 Days Later? Guess what? Exterminio 2 From what I heard it's a pretty decent sequel, so I might go see it even if it's Cillian less, but wel I'll try and get over it. Glad to know the music is great, it'll remind me of him... I can't help but thinkin of Cillian whenever I listen to In The House- In A Heartbeat

It is actually a decent sequel... I did not feel as much for the characters as in the first one, and you can't help but missin Jim but it came out better than I thought

Yeah, 28 Weeks Later was a lot better than I expected. I actually had a nightmare about going to see it and it being bad! My mum enjoyed it! Which is funny cos she's a total wimp! It's worth seeing just for Robert Carlyle's performance (I love him!). Although he gets extrememly random at the end. And for some reason, the infected have turned out to be more like zombies this time- killing people, rather than infecting them. But the whole theme of "people killing people" is continued. The music reminded me of Jim, probably why I cried- cos I miss him! 28 Weeks Later isn't as visually stunning as 28DL and probably a lot more dark, and there's a bit with the two kids which really annoys me- but nevermind- I won't go into too much detail cos it'll spoil it! Going to see it again on wednesday. Exterminio 2?? I suppose there'll be Exterminio 3 as well?? I hope you guys already knew there was gonna be a third one! How good would it be if they got Jim back (in a respectful, non-infected way, of course!)?

Definitely... I can see Cillian comin back for the next one but probably on one condition... Jim dyin heroically and uninffected I would cry my heart out, but seems like Cillian would prefer his characters to die... don't you guys agree?
