Want to get your Cillian fanfiction out there? Here's your opportunity!

Under the Cillianfan section (on cillianONINE), there is a sub-category titled 'CILLIANfanfiction'. The idea of the section is to include various fanfiction stories written by you all. :] Of course, there have to be some restrictions set in place.

As far as stories submitted...

I will take no story that is NC-17/R. I feel with the wide range of ages visiting this forum, this is the only solution to the limitations of fanfiction. All stories will be proofread by me or an assistant. So, if your story is misrated based on content (either purposely or unintentionally), your story will not be accepted.

Secondly, you must have a beta for your story. I am not picky as far as betas. It can either be a friend or Microsoft Spell-Check. As long as your story is being proofread by another individual (human or machine), there should be no problem. But again, someone will be reading through your story for grammatical, spelling, and all errors of the sort, just incase.

Finally, your story must be hosted somewhere online. As cillianONLINE continues to grow, I simply do not have enough room on the server. Therefore, please have your fanfic posted on a website, xanga, livejournal, or other source. The source must be easy to link, so that visitors can simply click the link provided on cillianONLINE and go directly to your story and not have to click half a dozen links to find one chapter of your story.

Once the story is listed on cillianONLINE, the following information will be included by your story:

Genre/Movie-Base
Beta
Summary
Author's Note (Optional)


When you submit a link to your story, you must include all of the information listed above. Otherwise, your story will not be accepted and you will have to re-submit it to cillianONLINE.

And will our betas undergo "background checks"? That is, do they have to be real people, with real, traceable e-mail addresses--? The "machine" thing is right out: I flatly refuse to use a spell checker (because they're dumber than dumb, and that's an absolute Microsoft-- no surprise there!-- fact) or-- worse, worse, and worse-- a grammar checker.

This bulletin is simply if you want your fanfic on cillianONLINE. I'm not doing anything on the forum. However, if you'd like to have your fanfic on the site, they have to follow the guidelines listed.

With the fan fic is it a linc to here for finished fics or the on going fics. I'm still draging my mine out but wouldn't mind sharing it with others? So i guess I'm asking if it need to be a finished piece or not? wow that took way to many words...

Er, I have a question. I know no rated-R fanfics but, er, I'm working on a "28 Days Later". You can't get away with a "Oh gosh darn it, the bloody zombies are freakin' come so let's get the heck outta here" in a fanfic like that. ;D Must all fanfics be purged of curse words? I'm not saying my fanfic will be like Alien 3, where every line ends with a "f*ck". But Jim and his posse aren't exactly angels. They talk like drunken sailors half the time in that movie, lol. So... are there exceptions to what can get loaded for the site? Can't we just give a warning to would-be readers of what the fanfic contains?
