I was introduced to this irish female group called "Celtic Woman" by my mom. We watched them on a PBS special and now i'm going to see them live. I was wondering if there were any Celtic Music fans out there?

Loreena McKennitt is great. I do have some irish music CD's, I wish I'd remember the names, but the only one I recall are The chieftains.
and I adore Enya, if that counts as plain celtic music.

I love Loreena McKennitt. Wonderful stuff. I've always liked Celtic music, but while I was in France I lived close to a Mediatheque and was renting all this Celtic music. Some excellent stuff. (Why go to France and listen to Celtic music, I ask myself? Well, France has Celtic music too, but I digress.) Just got the Rough Guide to Irish Music (2nd Ed). Gee, I wonder why it was IRISH music ...

I have a cd called Celtic Sounds of Middle Earth, does anyone listened to it? That sounds great, actually. Is it various artists or just one?

Hehe this reminds me of "Intermission"! I love the scene where Cillian, Colin and the other dude are singing Clannad's song in the car. They're so funny! I ended up falling in love with the song, but I can't find it anywhere. I wanna buy the soundtrack, but I'm in bankrupt thanks to my Cillian and Batman addictions. Does anyone has that song? Is called "Newgrange".
Celtic music is cool. I'm starting to like it thanks to the movie. ;D

Cillian (singing): Rum de rum 'rud a derimo, rum de rum 'rud a derimooooo... Hehe I have that on my messenger nickname and I don't even know what it means. If anyone's wondering: yes, those are the actual lyrics. I found them the other day. I'm already starting to think that Cillian's movies are affecting my life. Now I'm into celtic music! lol
