I have been listening to this all day yesterday, I heard it on this documentary from Woodstock and I just fell in love with it... it was so funny, my mum came in and just stood there listening and then she asked me 'What the heck are you listening to?' turns out she loved this song as a young girl and never thought I'd listen to something like that

I LOVE the lyrics I'm in total unison with them and the way she does her jaded rap style. Gorgeous stunning genius woman!
This track is so chilled and summery. Timeless and beautiful! ;D

All the silly songs I was listening to as a little girl running around the place, head first into walls and stuff...
I still know the words to some of them even!
Actually the song I'm listening to right now, called 'Man er Som Man er' by Krumme (You are the way you are)... it's so funny... the lyrics are practically telling you that you can't change who you are, you can dream but not change but you're all right the way you are...
I mean if you think of it, you can change, people change all the time...
Another funny thing is, that the guy who sings it was a pretty big child star in acting when I was little and my mother has a video of me being 3 or 4 years old sitting with a poster of him declaring my undying love to him.... Once a fan girl, always a fan girl, eh?

Ouhhhhh yeah Jinx! Now you are talking ;D Do you like classic music in general? I like soundtrack film score too. John Barry is a big favourite of mine. Out Of Africa is simply amazing. I love Lucia Di Lammermoor by Gaetano Donizetti in fact I am listening to it right now. *sigh* ;D so beautiful. I sampled from the film The Fifth Element years back on a dance track I created this song where the Blue Diva Alien sings it and some other pieces of the film but I could never publish it, I was lost trying to contact the right people for the rights to use it.  |

Ooowww Out of Africa, brings tears in my eyes just to talk about it... Gorgeous movie, amazing soundtrack.
I think I have a soft spot for Danny Elfman (along with the big guys like John Williams and Hans Zimmer of course) and the soundtrack from Big Fish is one of my personnal favorites.
DIVA DANCE ! Holy woahhh ! This must be awesome ! I wish I could listen to what you've done with it !
