Okay, after just recently finishing the first book I'm pretty pumped up about the movie. Here's a video from MTV, www.mtv.com/overdrive/?id=1585900&vid=226476I can't wait! I hope it's as good as it looks! I would be so disappointed if they bombed this like the people did with the Eragon movie.

December? I have to wait untill DECEMBER? ? Oh, if they screrw this movie up, I just might have to go and hurt someone. I have to admit though, I made my views about the casting very clear in a couple different threads, but I think I might be warming up to them. Maybe.

Yeah, I hope they really try to go along with the book or else they will have lots of angry fans to deal with!

The hype surrounding the upcoming movie is quite amusing. Everybody seems to be for or against the casting, and everybody seems to have their own certain Edward or Bella in mind. I was interested in all that, too, for a short time, but I've since lost interest in it because my interest in the Twilight series itself diminished. I've only read the first book. It wasn't that bad, but it was just a bit too teen romance for my taste, so I couldn't bring myself to read the other books in the series. The movie looks interesting though; it'll be interesting to see how it will be received by fans. I personally think Robert and Kristen were well chosen for the roles... Robert's a pretty good looking fella.

I liked the book, but I agree it was a little bit to teenish in some parts. I think it really started getting good at the end though. But I think she could have made the Cullen family a bit more, I don't know, more vampire like, instead of just like a normal family. I think Edward was the one who acted like a vampire the most. But I like the cast though.

I think the books arer very teenage (seeing as I am still a teenager...for a little while longer : , but I think the reral hype is just Edward. Stephenie created THE PERFECT MAN in her series, and the fact that he is inhumanly beautiful and would really like nothing better than to suck your blood is just a bonus. I think the hard thing about taking a book and making a movie is that each individual person has their own image of the characters and scenes. So when you make the movie, you obviously can't please everyone. I have decided to put my foot in my mouth a reseve my judgement untill I see the movie. After all, I still liked Harry Potter although they very nearly buchered the storyline.

Does anyone know about release dates in the UK? Aww, I absolutely loove Daniel Radcliffe. He resembles my younger brother a little bit, but that has nothing to do with why I adore him. heheh I thought the 3 leads for the Harry Potter films were quite well-casted; they were exactly how I pictured the characters when I read the books. That's just me though.

I agree, I really like the way the portray the characters and they have great chemistry together. And I think Daniel Radcliffe is pretty attractive, myself

I'm very excited for this movie. I'm a huge fan of the books. I was very skeptical with the cast at first, but I've warmed up to all of them. I think Rob looks great as Edward (although I'll always picture Henry Cavill as Edward first). I think the movie will be good. Stephenie is happy with it, and from all that I've read/seen from it, I'm optimistic...hopefully we won't be disappointed. Here's the teaser trailer. vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.fullscreen&videoid=33429578And here's the movie poster.

A lot of people think the poster is too photoshopped. I think they could've toned it down a bit more, but I love it.

Ohhh, thank you Reverie! As for the photoshop issue, he is supposed to be inhumanly beauiful and perfect, so I guess that it works. He does look very attractive in that poster, I must admit. I reallly can't believe that I have to wait untill December. Grrrrrrrrrrrr
