I'm kinda worried that he wont be in the 3rd Batman movie. He's already sunk down to the level of a drug pusher, and it seems unlikely that he could rise from that, and if he could, how would he do it? If Two Face is really dead, he can't join up with him, and I don't think they'll recast the Joker, out of respect for Heath and how well he performed. It seems doubtful that he'd be in it, IMO, but I've heard rumours, so I might be wrong (I hope so).

Apparently in the novelization, it has a lot of Crane in it, much more than the film, as it's based on the uncut script, so potentially, we could have got a lot more. I've not read it, but he seems to be described as an exceedingly narcissistic, vain man, which isn't the impression I got from Cillian's portrayal in Batman Begins, or the comics.

Either way, I really really hope he's in the 3rd film. A few seconds in TDK is not enough!

The Riddler IS the biggest villain candidate as of now. I don't think Nolan will ever try Penguin or even Catwoman. They just don't work into the new Batman theme. It worked for Burton but it will never work for Nolan.

It would be stupid to make Johhny Depp play Joker but if they get him to play Riddler, that would be fun. I've only heard here about him possibly playing either Joker or Riddler though. And yes, it will be absolutely phenomenal if we get to see Cillian and Johnny work onsecreen together. Whoot.
