Emile did a fantastic job!!!
the story was just awesome, and the filming and writing and acting was just outstanding!!!!!

I have wanted to see this, but have never had the chance. I heard it has the girl who is starring in Twilight in it, so I just might have to give it a chance.

I have also been meaning to see this for awhile. I remember a long time ago, like, when I was in middle school maybe (so lets see, a bit over 10 years ago??) my friend had the book Into the Wild, she was reading it and said it was very good. So I have known about this story for quite sometime and was immediately interested when I saw it was a film. I also LOVE Emile Hirsch (my favorite films of his are Imaginary Heroes and The Girl Next Door, both totally different but both so good, one is very emotionally intense and sometimes tragic, the other is just goofy and funny), so I really wanted to see the film .... but like so many movies, I never did see it! I will sometime, maybe my public library will have it to check out lol! I am glad to hear that it is good though!

Well,I've never finished that movie .. I dont know why but I thought there were too many lengths in the film.Maybe I should re-watch the DVD.I'll do it..

Into the Wild is a masterpiece in film making. Sean Penn really did a fantastic job. It's my favourite movie- even beats Donnie Darko and Edward Scissorhands to top spot. I always end up in floods of tears at the end. Emile Hirsch is a class actor too.

He's probably most famous for Atonement. Brilliant movie. He was also in Wanted.
Into the Wild just might not be your kind of movie but for me it's so touching and beautifully made. The story really touched my heart. And the soundtrack- Eddie Vedder- incredible. I love Pearl Jam and Eddie solo has such a gorgeous voice.
