Dark Knight is coming out in a week!
And I just learned that there is an IMAX 20 minutes away from me that has a midnight showing!
I think I might pass out!

Ahh, lucky! Yeah, I'm excited to see it too, but unfortunate the closest IMAX they're playing it at is an hour and half away. There's an IMAX at the Smithsonian which is much closer, but they're not playing it there  I saw the first 6 minutes of it before Hanc*ck though (online) and thought it was pretty cool. I'm really excited  |

Here are those first 6 minutes quackattack speaks of .... 6 Minutes of Dark KnightI watched it and it looks great! It makes me way more intrigued and excited for the film! It isn't really much of a spoiler either. Its the first 6 minutes so it is in chronological order, so it doesn't give anything away from later in the film. You learn a little something, but not much, in fact nothing that I think is particularly pertinent to the storyline as a whole, just a good scene to sort of introduce the tone of the film. If you are a CRAZY HARDCORE Batman fan then maybe you don't want to watch the clip, but it is really not a spoiler at all, in my opinion (would you agree quackattack?), so I say go for it and enjoy and tell us what you think!! I think the film looks great and I think Joker looks TERRIFYING and that the film will have a greater intensity and darkness to it than the past Batmans. I am really looking forward to being creeped out and put into intense, and possibly scary, situations, because I really find the Joker to be super scary. I also really hope the Scarecrow is in it for a substantial part of the film!!! My hypothesis (and this is based on nothing I have read or heard in the news or anything) is that Scarecrow will get killed off rather quickly by a more powerful villain, perhaps the Joker and/or his henchmen. I do not know why I think this, I just don't really think this film is about the Scarecrow and since he isn't really a powerful villain, just crazy and has access to fear toxin, I don't really see him standing up to someone as NUTS as the Joker. If the Scarecrow dies I think it will be a really glorious and awesome death! ... you know, in the way that is cool because it is a comic book movie! |

I don't think it's a spoiler either. It basically just introduces us to the Joker.
I agree that the Joker looks really scary and intense. Heath Ledger (R.I.P.) went all out in this role. There's even buzz of Oscar nods.

Yeah, everyone says that TDK is going to get lots of Oscar nominations...and Heath Ledger (R.I.P.) should and probably will get a posthumous nomination.
I'm excited, even though the IMAX sold out of midnight tickets...I'm still going on opening day to IMAX, which is still really cool. ;D
EVERYONE STAY SAFE BEFORE THIS FRIDAY! No one who has waited a long time can get sick or hurt before it comes out! *hug*

Wow! That got me soo exited for the move (as if I wasn't exited enough already). I can't wait to see more of Heath; this really does look to be his best work yet, although it may be hard to to 10 Things I Hate About You. Creepy, dark and awesome, just my cup o' tea!

i seriously think this is going to be an Epic Movie!!!!!!!! it looks FREAKING AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i cannot wait!!! and i cant wait to see Heath as the Joker!!! and see what happens to Scarecrow!!!!!!!!!!!
in the comic books i was told the Joker is suppose to finish him off!!!
how exciting would that be!

Lol, I know exactly what you are saying discoharvest!!! I have the hypothesis that Joker does kill Scarecrow, although that is just a total guess on my part, but even though it would suck to say goodbye to Cillian, Joker killing Scarecrow would be soo sweet and awesome and super-villain-y!  |
