This is new to me. It seems like Cillian gets everything he wants ... I remember him talking about wanting to do a western in an interview, and now he does sort of. The luck of the irish I guess, but if i was an instructor or caster i would surely cast him too. He is the kind of actor, that brings something extra to the role. Here one of the actors Jordan Bayne confirms that his contract is signed and set is being build. Okay, so Cillian's really doing this now? Cause a few months ago when the rumors first started everyone said that it wasen't true, but I hope it is. I REALLY want him to be in a vampire movie and it being in the old west or whatever makes it even cooler. So I really hope these rumors are true and it sounds like they are so yea I'm happy! ;D |

I really can't believe that Cillian's going to do this movie. It still sounds a bit fishy and unreliable. Quite frankly, I really hope he doesn't do this movie. The premise of this movie sounds way too cheesy, to be honest.

I think we should wait for the movie to come out and see it, before we can judge  Maybe I won't like it even if it sounded good to me, and maybe you will instead.... but I have to say that I'm always happy to hear about a new movie with Cillian, whatever the premises are, because it will give me the chance to see him playing a new and different role, and I'm always curious about that! For example, "Watching The Detectives" is not the kind of movie that I usually watch, I watched it and even if the plot isn't very good in my opinion , I loved the way he played Neil and it was anyway funny to watch |

I'm not Cillian. We'll just have to wait and see. Although we're all Cillian fans, I don't think we have to like every movie he's in necessarily. He's bound to make some not so good movies. We're not just a bunch of mindless Cillian fanatics; we all have different tastes and opinions. And I just have to say that I really liked Watching the Detectives actually. I know some Cillian fans bashed it, but I found it pretty cute and enjoyable. It's not going to win any awards or anything, but it is what it is -- a light, funny romantic comedy and nothing more.  |

Well, whether he does this or not I admit I'll watch anything he does because I know that if nothing else at least he'll do a good job in his role if no one else does. I can see how you could see it being a cheesy horror flick, like those dozens of lame and usually terrible SciFi channel movies, (which I hope this one isn't). I admit I've been dying to see Cillian as a vampire for awhile and so that's probably the main reason I hope he makes this. Even if he was a cowboy guy in it I'd still probably love it. But I guess we'll all have to just wait and see like you said. |

There has been nothing about this film in the trade magazines, such as Variety, where film industry developments are reported from signing to production to release. The only source for High Moon info is Jordan Bayne, an actor who doesn't even make the D-list after over a decade in the business. She sent this story around to all the blogs, and some of them printed it, but she's the only source. She emailed The CillianSite and we asked her to give us a contact with Cillian's reps who could confirm what she's saying and she dodged the question.
Anyone can say anything they want on their MySpace, put up photos of sets, and say that major actors are in their wacky vampire cowboy film. As soon as it hits the trades, I'll buy it. Until then, no. Pay attention to the source. I think the blogs who've gone with this info coming only from Jordan Bayne don't help anything. They should be asking who are the companies backing this film, and trying to confirm actor and director involvement, rather than spreading wishful thinking rumors.

Well, to be accurate there is also that "Solar Eclipse Film" site that says it, too ; not that I know if we can trust 'em or not but , this means that Jordan Bayne (who is a female) 's blog is not the only source . I thought that we were allowed to talk about whatever we want as far as we clarify that it is still just a rumor, as it has been said like...ten times in this topic  So , I apologize and swear that from now on I will strictly wait for things to be posted on TheCilliansite before even dare to talk about them . Oh and...I'm sorry if anyone misunderstood what I wrote so just to be sure I'll modify the title . |
